Nickelodeon has renewed Peter Rabbit, their CGI animated series for a second season. Based on the classic children's book by Beatrix Potter, the cable channel has ordered 26 new episodes and two specials.
Peter Rabbit began airing on Nickelodon last December and is produced in conjunction with Silvergate Media and animated by Brown Bag Films.
No word on when the new episodes will begin airing. The voice cast includes Colin De Paula, Peter Harris, Michaela Dean, Stephanie Sheh, Megan Harvey, Jenna Iacono, Kyle Dean Massey, Mark Huckerby, and Dave Mitchell.
A new episode of Peter Rabbit, “The Tale of the Giant Pumpkin/The Tale of the Fierce Bad Rabbit,” will premiere on Friday, October 25th, at 1:30pm on Nickelodeon.

Chicago – Another week of Blu-ray, DVD, and streaming options for you to peruse courtesy of HollywoodChicago.com’s “What to Watch.” Every week, we gather a select few of the most recent Blu-ray & DVD releases, toss in at least one On Demand option we’ve seen, and present them in a checklist order for you to knock out through Amazon, iTunes, Netflix, or good, old-fashioned Blu-ray (yes, that sounds funny to me too). This week’s is the strongest yet by far. Everything in here is worth a look, all the way down to #9. This is just the order you should watch ‘em in more than anything else.

Microsoft has issued an open letter to the Xbox Live Indie Games developer community. Xna founding member Dave Mitchell said that the recent changes to the service, including being repositioned as part of the recent dashboard update, were not intended to "bury" it. "On behalf of the team here at Microsoft working on the Xbox Live Indie games offering, I'd like to state that we have not abandoned the program or the service and have no intentions of doing so," he said. "The intent was to provide a special destination for Xbox Live Indie Game developers and not to 'bury' it as some have suggested it. "We are constantly striving (more)...

Would I Lie To You, Sherlock, John Bishop's Britain, Wallander, Better Off Ted and a whole host of movie treats: it's the UK TV week's round-up!
A new series, the fourth, of Would I Lie To You? starts tonight, Friday 23rd July at 10:35pm on BBC1. Its description of a panel show where contestants guess if the claims made are true or false, sounds like more dainty undergarments through dog intestines, until you learn that the show is hosted by Rob Brydon and 'celebrity' guests are usually top-notch comedians joining panel captains Lee Mack and David Mitchell. It's the interaction among these three and their guests that gets the most laughs, the 'game' being a means to an end, usually a very funny end, week on week. Tonight is the first of eight episodes in the series.
