He is co-host of Ireland AM, TV3's weekday breakfast show. He joined
TV3 from his mid-morning talk and music programme on Today FM,
following seven years presenting on Dublin's 98FM.
He started his career in broadcasting when he joined RTE (Ireland) in
1977. He was part of the original line-up of 2FM (Radio 2),
broadcasting on its first night on air - 31 May 1979.
Has two sons and two daughters with his second wife
He was voted Irish Television Personality of the Year
at the 3rd Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTA's) (November 5, 2005)
His first wife, Ann, died of a brain hemorrhage on their 11th wedding
anniversary
