Isabelle Bertges

Isabelle Bertges was born in Trier, Germany and started acting in her childhood.
She can be seen in films such as Amour Fou (2013) by Jessica Hausner, Baby(a)lone (2014) by Donato Rotunno or The Case You (2020) by Alison Kuhn. She was an apprentice at the Theater Trier throughout her youth, has danced at the Philharmonie Luxembourg after being a ballet student for many years and was a member of the Junges Schauspiel Frankfurt Ensemble.
Isabelle Bertges is a female rights activist and has been an active part of the world wide #metoo movement through speaking at international venues and media. In 2022 she and many other plaintiffs won a public class action lawsuit in Switzerland against a predatory filmmaker who facilitated the recording of abusive and intimate casting material which was meant to be published by his company later on. The case is documented in internationally acclaimed, award-winning film "The Case You" by Alison Kuhn.
Her main work consists of equal rights and advocacy work. She holds an AA from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA,2020) and a B.A in Conflict Studies from Antioch University (2023). She lives in New York City.
