Winners were announced Saturday for the 40th College Television Awards, which recognize excellence in student-produced programs from colleges and universities nationwide. The Television Academy Foundation’s ceremony took place as a global livestream for the first time because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Top honors went to Balloon, from Christina Cha, Jeremy Merrifield and Dave Testa of the American Film Institute, which won both the Drama prize and the special Seymour Bricker Humanitarian Award, a $4,000 cash prize given to a winning project that best highlights a humanitarian concern.

In a recent video from Warner Bros. Henry Cavill discusses some hidden easter egg references to a bigger DC cinematic universe in Man of Steel. He talks about the Wayne Enterprises satellite and references to LexCorp as well as S.T.A.R. Labs. He goes on to say that he would love to see the character Cyborg up on the big screen and why. Here's what he said,
"On the extras on the Blu-ray, we're going to get the opportunity to see Zack's references to other aspects of the DC Universe. Eric Powell's announcement that Dark Horse comic book by the name of "The Goon" is getting its feature film treatment has been proven to be true as two new images from the movie version have come out. Posted by Ain't It Cool, the pictures give a taste of how "The Goon" will look like in the big screen.
One of the photos displays The Goon and Franky having a beer after knocking out a green monster, while the other still shows a shot of The Goon up-close. In addition to those two images, Blur Studios and Dark Horse Comics cover artist Sean McNally had previously posted some of the very early concept art and a high resolution version of the film's teaser poster on his Sporadic Sketch Blog.
"The Goon" will follow the adventures of a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for a feared mobster Labrazio.
