The first trailer for Love Island Games held back a key piece of information about the show’s format, but it did tease appearances from some particularly polarizing veteran islanders, including Love Island USA Season 3’s Cely Vazquez and her ex Johnny Middlebrooks, whose on-again off-again relationship stirred up a lot of drama both in and out of the villa. It also hinted at a more action-based competition approach, like MTV’s The Challenge, with host Maya Jama stating that the challenges would “determine everything,” including which couple would win and take home the $100,000 cash prize.

[This story contains major spoilers from the first season of Love Island Games.]
Following an intense season of Peacock’s new spinoff Love Island Games, filled with both team and couples’ challenges and games, Justine Ndiba and Jack Fowler came on top.
Though they have been in the villa before in Love Island USA season two and Love Island U.K. season four, respectively, the new iteration brought a new competitive edge, focusing on extreme challenges and duels. While trying to build a romantic connection since coupling up at the beginning of the season, Ndiba and Fowler also had to battle it out with other couples to stay ahead.
Their relationship ran into a few speed bumps, including Fowler having to fight it out in the ring to stay in the villa with Ndiba at one point, but they proved to be stronger together through the end. Especially since they had to trust in each other and their own abilities since there wasn...

“Love Island Games” is already bringing the heat to the villa, as the Peacock spin-off welcomes two new bombshells to the competition: “Love Island U.K.” alum Megan Barton Hanson and “Love Island U.S.A.” alum Johnny Middlebrooks.
Upon entering the villa at the end of Wednesday’s series premiere, “Love Island Games” host Maya Jama informed Barton Hanson and Middlebrooks they could choose to kiss two islanders of their choice. Middlebrooks immediately shook things up by choosing to kiss his ex, Cely Vazquez, and Imani Wheeler, both of whom appeared on “Love Island U.S.A.”
The catch is, however, that the islanders were blindfolded while the bombshells made their choices, leaving those who were picked for a smooch in the dark about the identity of the bombshell.
In an exclusive clip shared with TheWrap, Jama breaks downs the consequences of the bombshells’ decisions, which leaves Ray, who is coupled up with Wheeler,...

The official trailer for “Love Island Games” is finally here, and we can’t wait to see the cheeky challenges and deception stirred up by the Peacock spin-off series.
“For the first time ever, we’re bringing together an international all-star cast of ex-islanders ready for some healthy competition and a second chance at love,” host Maya Jama said in the trailer. “Things are gonna be very different this time around. The challenges will determine everything, and ultimately which couple gets $100,000.”
Bringing together U.S., U.K. and Australian islanders across the “Love Island” franchise to a Fiji villa, the new format mixes dating and games as ex-islanders pair up and compete to become the champions of the “Love Island Games.” With the sizable prize fund on the line, the contestants’ motives for coupling up for challenges might differ.

The key to winning “The Challenge: USA” is to prevail in the Final Challenge, but in order to qualify for that, contestants must first accumulate at least 5,000 throughout the season. At the start of CBS’s reality TV show, each person was given 1,000 in their banks. There are two ways to earn additional funds: win a daily challenge or survive the elimination arena (which lets them steal the losers’ banks).
Most players have already scored the required amount of moolah to get them to the Final Challenge. Below, we give you an update on “The Challenge: USA” money won after eight episodes.

In The Challenge: USA, Episode 7, teams will clash in a physical daily challenge for the first time of the season. However, they’ll do some from within some hard-hitting vehicles rather than their bodies.
The latest event will feature Challenge bumper cars as teammates will ride inside the vehicle and navigate a dirt course. Like many other challenges, a twist makes things unique and more difficult.
For this particular daily, the teammate driving the car will be unable to see anything as they’ll have a helmet featuring a blacked-out visor on front.
Their partner will be frantically trying to guide them by shouting out instructions as their teammate does their best to drive while blind.
