Star Wars fans are disappointed with the cancellation of EA and Respawn’s Fps title based around the Mandalorian, due to layoffs and other cost-cutting strategies, it paved the way for the Titanfall universe to make a comeback.
Titanfall launched back in 2014 where it features first-person combat and was just a multiplayer title until Respawn worked on Titanfall 2 released in 2016, no mainline follow-up was released since then and fans are hoping for a third sequel, which may not be the case.
The Upcoming Titanfall Could Feature Some Ideas Of Respawn’s Cancelled Star Wars Game The Mandalorian could have fit in a Titanfall game.
While this is a positive sign that despite the layoffs, cancellations, and changes that are happening internally, Respawn Entertainment held its head up high and continued its work. Though, a new Star Wars game set outside the Star Wars Jedi series would be a nice change of pace,...

Developer Respawn Entertainment is thinking outside the box when it comes to the integration of Titanfall 2‘s much-touted single-player campaign.
Considering that the original 2014 shooter didn’t come packing an offline story mode, there’s an air of heightened optimism going into Titanfall 2‘s October release and during an interview with CNET (via PlayStation LifeStyle), the studio teased how the sequel’s campaign really “isn’t your average linear Fps.”
It really isn’t your average linear, for lack of a better word, corridor Fps. It’s not like you’re getting pulled through this series of explosions or people yelling at you. There’s going to be very quiet moments where you’re taking in a broad environment and you have to figure out how you’re going to traverse it.
Though it won’t step into the realm of open-world exploration, Titanfall...

Microsoft wrapped up their first E3 2013 press conference this morning by unveiling a new exclusive title called Titanfall, the inaugural multiplayer mech shooter from Respawn Entertainment. The announcement of the Xbox One-exclusive title came from Respawn’s CEO Vince Zamella, who introduced game director Steve Fukuda on stage to demo the upcoming shooter live.
“It’s an exciting time in the industry and it feels like the perfect time to be unveiling Titanfall,” said Vince Zampella. “Our passion at Respawn is games and we are focused on bringing something exciting to kick off the next generation of software.”
The highly anticipated title will drop gamers into the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (Imc) and the Militia as elite Pilots. Here, players will be able to switch between unprotected human pilots and the exo-suited Titans, allowing them to to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation.

Just one day after former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella officially unveiled Respawn Entertainment, a number of prominent, valuable employees have left beleaguered studio Infinity Ward. Have a look at who they are, and what they did at Infinity Ward:
Chris Cherubin — Lead Artist Bruce Ferriz — Senior Animator Steve Fukuda — Lead designer Mackey McCandlish — Lead Designer Zied Reike — Lead designer Jon Shiring — Programmer Rayme Vinson — Programmer
Of this current group, only person has indicated an immediate destination: Bruce Ferriz is bound for Big Red Button Entertainment, the studio founded in 2008 by former Naughty Dog Art Director Bob Rafei. As for the balance of the individuals listed above, speculation that they may join West and Zampella at Respawn Entertainment remains, for now, just that. The timing of the departures, however, is difficult to ignore.

Everyone who’s seen this list have the same thing to say about it more or less, and that is, what exactly is Wet, X-Men, and Modern Warfare doing on that list when there were other games like Dragon Age: Origins that certainly had great stories and dialog. Now I’m not going to defend MW2’s cookie-cutter military story, but...
