Boy and Bear and Gotye were the most successful music acts at last night's Aria Awards. Sydney folk group Boy and Bear won five awards at the annual Australian music ceremony, including the 'Best Group' gong and 'Best Album' for their debut record Moonfire. They also picked up 'Best Adult Contemporary Album'. After they won the 'Breakthrough Album' award, drummer Tim Hart said that they are very "grateful" for the recognition, but said that he thought The Middle East should have won the prize. He then added: "I'm going to get in trouble for that, I'm sorry." Gotye was named 'Best Male' act and also won 'Best Pop Release' and 'Best Single' for 'Somebody that I Used to Know', which features New Zealand singer Kimbra. Kimbra (more)...
