AneUnhu is a Zimbabwean interdisciplinary artist & creative entrepreneur. That means firstly; his art employs different disciplines, namely music, theatre, film & more. And secondly; that he is professionally operating in the creative & cultural industries.
With a proven track record of creating and producing impactful & award-winning work, AneUnhu is actively contributing to the global African Art Renaissance. As his name calls him to do, his practices seek to be one with the essence of humanity.
He has considerably experience as performing artist, both as a theatre maker and as a musician, freely interchanging between sharing his own work and being an asset to others.
His forays into the camera world have seen him produce a music video of a tribute single, In This Lifetime, act in various short films and compose score/background music for a steadily growing collection of rich stories. Most notably, AneUnhu provided music for NAMA nominated historical short film, The Story of Nehanda, Bustop TV web series MaSystems & Haus of Stone's Mugardheni MaUriel fashion film.
His acting forays has seen him work with Danayi Chapfika, Derrick Manieca, Tomas Brickhill, Jabu Mudzvova & Shayileti yielding fashion films, music videos, social commentary and student films.
He has contributed to a few "musicals," most notably a multi award winning stage production he co-created called Heartbreak Mafia. While at the Horne School of Music in Utah, he worked with the theatre department on a stage musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's James & The Giant Peach.
