Jim Meza
Jim Meza, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, is responsible for all WarnerMedia legal matters. Before his current position, Jim was responsible for AT&T's defense to the Department of Justice's lawsuit to block the AT&T/Time Warner merger.
Jim joined the Company in 2000 and was appointed Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in 2012. Since that time, he has been responsible for the legal support of several AT&T businesses, including the AT&T Entertainment Group following the acquisition of DIRECTV in 2015, AT&T Mobility, the AT&T Technology Organization, Corporate Development & Strategy, and the Global Marketing Organization.
Jim started his legal career at Jones Walker in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned his B.A. from Nicholls State University and his J.D. from Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law.
