Match #1: Blair Davenport def. Roxanne Perez The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The reign of terror from Blair Davenport will continue as she defeated former Nxt Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez convincingly. The tenacity and ferociousness of Davenport were evident as the British Superstar tossed Perez around the ring, but Perez did manage to counter a superplex into a crossbody. Perez continued to fight back, but her attempt to take out Davenport on the outside backfired as she was sent face-first into the steel ring steps. That spelled the beginning of the end as moments later Davenport was able to hit Perez with a pair of crushing knee strikes that ended the match.

“For me this book is about being saved – it’s being saved by all these people. And it’s that understanding that can give you so much strength. We all think about Pierre every day and I think that’s really important for all of us to do and I think of my family every day...

The red-hot Rk-Bro remain atop Raw, The Street Profits live to fight another day, and Alpha Academy have made a new, and highly decorated, enemy following the frenzy that was the Raw Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match. Olympic gold medalist and reigning NCAA wrestling champion Gable Steveson has signed an exclusive agreement with the WWE for his name, image and likeness rights, referred to as an Nil deal.
The Nil deal is a new rule allowing NCAA athletes to capitalize on their status and personalities without losing college eligibility. Previously, an athlete could not take part in advertising, profit from sales of his merchandise, or engage in paid promotional appearances, or receive other outside benefits without losing college eligibility. Some of the biggest stars of college sports potentially lost millions under such rules.
The new Nil rule, which started July 1, has already had a significant impact on collegiate sports, with some high school athletes coming to school earlier, and some seniors staying for an extra year. As of mid-summer, such prominent athletes as Alabama quarterback Bryce Young reportedly had deals in place worth $800,000, with offers pending that...
