James and Hayley are ready for their second Christmas together, and with everybody comfortable (or at least used to) the familial chaos of both the Taylor and Hughes families, it should be all downhill after last year’s adventures. However, throw in a trip to the Swiss Alps, a mix-up of accommodations, and James’ dad’s new American girlfriend (played by Jane Krakowski), will it really be the most wonderful time of the year? Asa Butterfield and Cora Kirk are back to lead the cast of the sequel “Your Christmas or Mine 2,” which comes to Prime Video on Friday, Dec. 8. Prime Video has debuted the trailer for the Christmas movie sequel ‘Your Christmas or Mine 2.’
The follow-up follows young couple James (Asa Butterfield), and Hayley (Cora Kirk), who are gearing up for their second Christmas as a couple. And that can only mean one thing … more mayhem with the Taylor and Hughes families.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year … but will it be for James and Hayley? James’ father has invited the Taylors to spend Christmas in a luxury ski resort in the Austrian Alps, so they can meet his new American girlfriend (played by Jane Krakowski). However, Hayley’s dad Geoff insisted on handling his family’s side of the booking and something clearly got lost in translation. After a mix-up with transport at the airport, the two tribes end up at each other’s accommodations, on different sides of a valley and opposite ends of the Tripadvisor ratings scale.

The gift of Netflix’s beloved “Heartstopper” lies in how it showcases queer storytelling in a way that feels joyous, heartwarming and tender to watch.
That’s not to say there isn’t room in the television landscape for more mature representations of queer youth. But at the heart of “Heartstopper” is a utopian vision of queer high school life, a rarely represented freedom to simply be and love who you are meant to during those formative high school years.
Here, the emphasis isn’t on bullying or the trauma that queer teens face, like on “13 Reasons Why.” Rather, we get to follow characters leaning into their identity and trying to find joy and community. It is arguably radical storytelling in the canon of queer representation, and feels necessary in a world where any progress for queer people is met with repressive backlash.

At one point in the new season of Netflix’s Heartstopper, a pair of adult chaperones on a school field trip observe the various romantic entanglements of their students. One is touched and a bit amused by it all, while the other feels wistful about it. “When you don’t figure out you’re gay until your late 20s,” he explains, “you tend to miss out on those beautiful gay teenage experiences.”

The trouble with most shows about teenagers is that while they can be entertaining, the storylines are often farfetched and absurd. In media, depictions of teens are adultified so much that the resulting characters are far removed from real-life adolescents’ daily lives and experiences. With “Heartstopper,” based on the graphic novel and comic of the same name, creator Alice Oseman proves that she recalls the uniqueness and singularity of teenhood. The U.K.-set Netflix series is one of the purest, most vividly accurate TV depictions of what it means to be a teen.

“I want to tell people,” Nick tells Charlie in the trailer. “It’s hard to find the right time.”
“I want you to come out when and how you want to,” Charlie assures him.
And it’s not just Nick and Charlie falling for each other. Love is in the air through the whole “Heartstopper” world, with Tao (William Gao) realizing his romantic feelings for Elle (Yasmin Finney) — who secretly reciprocates them (though she hasn’t told him that yet). Tara...

When "Heartstopper" hit Netflix earlier this year, it was nothing short of a phenomenon. The adorable, emotional teen romance was the title on everyone's lips for weeks after its first season debuted, so it was no surprise when it was renewed for more episodes just a month after it aired. But fans will still have to wait a while longer for the next chapter of the story of high schoolers Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor), as season 2 only recently entered production.
Still, even in the off-season, "Heartstopper" is worth celebrating. The show was just nominated for nine Emmys at the newly launched Children and Family Emmys Awards, an offshoot of the prestigious award show that's designed specifically to honor media aimed at kids and teens. Connor and Locke are among the nominees, along with their co-stars Yasmin Finney, William Gao, and Olivia Colman.

In true MCU fashion, plot details are being kept under wraps for the series.
We know it focuses on Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness.
We don't know who Locke will be playing, so we'll need to stay tuned for updates.
Emma Caulfield Ford recently revealed she would be reprising her Dottie role for the spinoff.

On April 22, Netflix released all eight episodes of "Heartstopper," a new young adult romantic comedy series. Set in southeast England, the show follows Charlie (Joe Locke), a high school student who recently came out - or, more accurately, was forced out - as gay. He knows better than to crush on a straight boy, but finds himself falling for rugby star Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). Over the course of the series, I didn't just fall in love with Charlie and Nick, but also with the friends and world around them. It's a gorgeous, funny, lovely rom-com series that spotlights LGBTQ+ teens in an authentic way.

"You ever feel like you're only doing things because everyone else is, and you're scared to change?" Netflix has revealed the official trailer for an indie series titled Heartstopper, a cute LGBTQ romance series based on the young adult graphic novel series. "Love meets doubt. Fear meets joy. Boy meets boy. Heartstopper - an eight chapter story about life, love and everything in between." Teenagers Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love in this coming-of-age series. Joe Locke and Kit Connor star as Charlie and Nick, respectively, and the rest of the ensemble cast includes Joseph Balderrama, Sebastian Croft, Yasmin Finney, Fisayo Akinade, Jenny Walser, Chetna Pandya, William Gao, Rhea Norwood, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, and Alan Turkington. This looks like it has some nice style and good vibes - and doesn't look as cheesy as most Netflix series usually do.

Kit Connor and newcomer Joe Locke will star opposite each other in See-Saw Films’ coming-of-age Netflix series Heartstopper, with filming currently underway in the UK.
Created and written by Alice Oseman from her literary series of the same name, the story follows the relationship of Charlie and Nick who, after meeting at all-boys school, become friends, and quickly discover a romance is blossoming between them.
Along the way they realise there is a strong community of allies and friends around them, helping them to access their authentic selves, but also teaching them there is no ‘right way’ to come out.
Connor (Rocketman) will play Nick Nelson, a popular year 11 student with a gentle demeanour who befriends Charlie Spring, played by Locke, a highly strung, openly gay over-thinker in the year below.
The cast also includes Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, and Rhea Norwood.
