“America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” continued Monday, January 30 with the fifth set of 10 performances from some of the most beloved acts in “Got Talent” history. Two more acts advanced to The Finals based on those initial performances: Tom Ball received the Group Golden Buzzer and Ana-Maria Mărgean was voted through by a secret group of superfans. They join Aidan McCann and Power Duo from January 23, Mike E. Winfield and Avery Dixon from the January 16 installment, Detroit Youth Choir and Aidan Bryant from the January 9 episode, and Light Balance Kids and Bello Sisters from the January 2 premiere. Monday’s results left eight all-star acts on the cutting room floor without a chance to be named “Got Talent World Champion.”
We asked “Who was wrongfully eliminated on January 30?” and “AGT” fans thought the superfans should have finally sent a singer through — 27 of voting fans believe Mandy Harvey was deserving of a spot in The Finals.

Comic duo Yumbo Dump first endeared themselves to American audiences during “America’s Got Talent” Season 13. They made it all the way to the quarter-finals, but were eliminated shortly after Heidi Klum gave them a red X on live television. All these years later, the Japanese comedians returned to the stage on “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” where they finally managed to get the German-American judge to admit she was wrong.
After being eliminated in 2018, the two guys — whose names are reportedly Go Kashu (“Yumbo”) and Daisuke Fujiwara (“Dump”) — vowed never to stop performing. “After ‘America’s Got Talent,’ we performed all over the world,” they told the camera prior to coming out on stage. “But we’ve never won. So this time we have to step it up. We have to make Heidi happy.”

“America’s Got Talent” is TV’s only competition show that embraces all forms of variety acts, whether you’re a singer, a comedian, a magician or anything in between. Throughout its nearly two decades years on the air, seven singers have claimed victory with the others being a mix of ventriloquists, magicians, etc. (See the “AGT” winners list.) However, there are four specific variety acts that have yet to win the top prize of $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas. Can any of these acts make history during Season 16 finale on September 15?

The semifinals have begun on “America’s Got Talent” and unfortunately, 10-year-old standout Peter Rosalita had a bit of a bumpy start. But he didn’t let that stop him from giving another jaw-dropping performance.
After his insanely memorable renditions of Celine Dion and Whitney Houston hits, Rosalita paid tribute to another queen on Monday night: Mariah Carey. He opted to sing “Without You” and, because the crowd was so loud for him, he actually needed a mulligan on the beginning of the song.
When the piano intro kicked in, he appeared to have trouble hearing it, so he calmly stopped the show and asked for the music to be restarted. “Hello? Wait, can you repeat please?” Rosalita said with a smile. “Sorry. Sorry guys.”
Of course, once he truly got into it, it was another show-stopping performance, ending in confetti, even louder cheers from the crowd, and yet another standing ovation from the “AGT” judges.

America’s Got Talent made its first round of Season 16 live cuts on Wednesday, sending a handful of hopeful acts packing.
These results came on the heels of Tuesday’s first live episode, which featured several memorable performances from people we thought were frontrunners. Highlights included singer Peter Rosalita stunning viewers with a powerful rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing,” comedian Kabir Singh sharing embarrassing texts from his mom, and escape artist Matt Johnson narrowly cheating death (again) by barely avoiding a chainsaw to the face.

We finally reached the live-shows portion of “America’s Got Talent” Season 16 on Tuesday. And that meant that a lot of fan favorites from the audition episodes returned to give their performances in the quarterfinals, including 10-year-old Filipino contestant Peter Rosalita.
Somehow, Peter managed to wow the judges — and us — even more with his second shot on stage last night than his very memorable debut performance. During his second round, Peter sang a cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” for judges Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, as all well as those in attendance at the live shows and viewers at home.
Rocking a shimmery suit, Rosalita’s pipes managed to blow us away once again, and brought the audience to their feet with applause when he had finished.

Sofia Vergara made Jimmie Herrod a household name when she pushed her Golden Buzzer for him during the audition phase of “America’s Got Talent.” Now that the live shows have begun, the powerhouse singer seems to have a new cheerleader in the form of Heidi Klum. After Jimmie’s live performance of “Pure Imagination” from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” Heidi called him a “million dollar act.” Talk about a huge vote of confidence! All four judges — Heidi, Sofia, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell — gave Jimmie a standing ovation, signalling their unanimous approval. Watch the “AGT” audition video above.
In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty had this to say about the performance: “For the final performance of the night, Sofia’s Golden Buzzer choice Jimmie Herrod came to the stage for his version of ‘Pure Imagination’ by Gene Wilder. Like his audition of ‘Tomorrow,’ the song was pure Broadway styling,...

Peter Rosalita, quite possibly the most talented 10-year-old singer in the country, returned to the “America’s Got Talent” stage during the August 10 live episode and once again wowed the judges. This time around, the crooning kid took on the Whitney Houston classic “I Have Nothing” live from the Dolby Theatre — no pressure, right? Judges Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum had nothing but raves for Peter, while Simon Cowell had some sound advice. He urged the youngster to pick a more age appropriate song next time that didn’t sound like his mother had chosen it. Watch the “AGT” audition video above.
In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty had this to say about the performance: “10 year old Peter Rosalita returned to the stage to sing the Whitney Houston power ballad ‘I Have Nothing.’ Though the lyrics of unrequited love might be well beyond his years, he...

In this quarter-finals round, which will consist of three episodes, a dozen acts per night will perform for the judges. Longtime viewers of “America’s Got Talent” are used to seeing amazing magicians wow the judges with their mesmerizing tricks — just look at past winners Mat Franco (Season 9) and Shin Lim (Season 13). On Tuesday’s episode, Patrick Kun entered the competition and immediately became a threat to win the reality TV show thanks to his incredible card tricks that left all four “AGT” judges with their jaws on the floor. Simon Cowell even admitted that what he witnessed “can’t be explained” by anything other than the fact that magic is real. Watch the video above.
Patrick started out by explaining that he wants to do magic for the rest of his life, adding with a wink, “I sold my soul a long time ago.” The Pittsburgh resident is newly married, but revealed his wife isn’t such a big fan of magic anymore because, “She thinks I love magic more than her.

This week’s episode of “America’s Got Talent” Season 16 taught us all something very important: none of the judges watch “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
The first act to take the stage on Tuesday night was Beyond Belief Dance, a girl dance group whose teacher was a “fearless, fabulous” drag queen named Justin (watch above). No one on “AGT” seemed to realize that Justin was actually “Drag Race” alum Alyssa Edwards, aka the sixth place finisher in Season 5 and the fifth place contender in “All Stars 2.” The Texas diva later popped up as a Lip Sync Assassin in “All Stars 5” where she battled, and lost, against ultimate winner Shea Coulee.

If there’s one thing “America’s Got Talent” is known for, it’s turning aspiring child singers into superstars. From the very first season when 11-year-old Bianca Ryan prevailed, to more recently with 12-year-old champs Grace VanderWaal and Darci Lynne Farmer, NBC’s reality TV show has always shone a spotlight on talented tykes. For its 16th season, which premiered Tuesday night (read our live blog), there’s a new kid on the block that we’re keeping our eye on: 10-year-old Peter Rosalita. Re-watch his powerful “AGT” audition video above.

“America’s Got Talent” debuted its 16th season Tuesday on NBC with several amazing auditions, including a showstopping cover of Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” performed by a 10-year-old boy who was born in Abu Dhabi and is growing up in the Philippines. The young singer, named Peter Rosalita, even managed to give judge Simon Cowell “goosebumps” with his rendition.
During his performance, which you can watch via the video above, you’ll see Peter give judges Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel his all while singing “All By Myself” in a way that would probably impress even Dion herself.
When he concluded his final note, he received a standing ovation from Cowell, Klum, Vergara, Mandel and the studio audience.
Howie told Peter he’s “so cute” and predicted he will “go far in this competition.” Sofia wanted to know if he’s surprised by the amazing power of his own voice,...

In a rare occurrence for America’s Got Talent, the NBC competition returned on Tuesday with the exact same line-up of judges that it left us with last season.
Fortunately, the Season 16 premiere still mixed things up by opening the show with an insanely meta dog act. Not only did The Canine Stars give us dog versions of each judge (including Bow-wowie Mandel and Simon Howl), but the group also managed to unlock one of my more disturbing childhood memories of those creepy Sesame Street sketches — you know, the ones where the dogs had human bodies and did people stuff?
