Composer, arranger, conductor, author and songwriter, educated at the
University of Washington and the Seattle Conservatory. He was a music
director for record companies and for radio, and a music editor for a
publishing company. Joining ASCAP in 1942, his popular-song
compositions include "Dawn of Tomorrow", "Concerto for Two", "My
Midnight Star", and "Fanny Tinkle".
