Chicago – The critical mind boggles when faced with a postmodern curiosity like “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” It is almost entirely indefensible on every conceivable level. Think of the funniest joke you ever heard at 3am in the midst of an insomnia attack or the haze of hookah smoke, and you’ll find the accurate equivalent of this show’s mind-numbingly stupid humor.
Launched a decade ago on Adult Swim, “Aqua Teen” has outlasted most of the network’s other shows, and has garnered a devoted cult following (as well as several detractors). Dave Willis and Dana Snyder, the creator and stars of the [adult swim] show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force are hitting the road for a live tour conveniently dubbed, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Live! Willis voices the characters of Meatwad and Carl on the Adult Swim series and Snyder plays Master Shake. Joining them on the live shows will be, Dave Long Jr, a fan who won a nationwide Carl lookalike contest.
