“All This I Will Give To You” (“Tout cela je te le donnerai”) is a suspenseful, if somewhat soapy, mystery/drama set around a lavish French vineyard and estate. The French TV miniseries opens with a fatal car crash on a rural road. Switch to Paris, where successful novelist Manuel Ortega (David Kammenos) is struggling to finish his latest overdue novel. He’s soon awakened by gendarmes informing him that his husband of six years had a fatal accident in rural France. Manuel is baffled because his mate, Aymeric (Alexis Loret) was supposedly on a business trip to Brussels.
We soon learn that Aymeric is the son of a wealthy marquis who’d inherited the title and responsibility for running the family business and properties, of which Manuel knew nothing. We shortly understand why.

The program’s third mission split contestants into three groups that performed different pop songs. One group sang Demi Lovato’s “Confident,” another performed The Pussycat Dolls’ “Buttons” and the third delivered the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.” The third elimination followed the performance videos for Mission 3.
Heading into the finale of the global girl group audition program, only 10 contestants remain. They include Daniela, Emily, Lara and Megan from the U.S., alongside Sophia (Philippines), Manon (Switzerland), Ezrela (Australia), Samara (Brazil), Marquise (Thailand) and Yoonchae (South Korea).

Written by Mário Cunha, Cláudia Clemente and Rafael Afonso, the series turns on Leonor de Almeida Portugal, best known as the Marquise of Alorna, who as a poet, translator and teacher, was deemed among the first and most prominent feminists of Portugal. As any critic will tell you, when you’re watching a comedy with an audience, it doesn’t matter how bad the movie is — even the jokes that are making you groan are going to provoke laughter. (That’s why comedies are always screened with a crowd; the studios want the audience giggles to rub off on you.) But at the Venice Film Festival, when I saw “The Palace,” Roman Polanski’s garish debacle of an ensemble comedy, I was sitting in the Sala Darsena, which seats 1400 (and was full), and on the rare occasion when a line in the movie got laughs, it was literally coming from about six people. I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard a giant theater this deadly silent for a movie that’s working this strenuously to amuse you.
Polanski, if you look back over his credits, has an astoundingly consistent track...

A time comes when interests in a group don't align.
On Step Up: High Water Season 3 Episode 9, a divide forms in the High Water group as each person sides with the party that is supposed to take their career to the next level.
They started as a tight group giving some of the best choreography in Sage's performances, but now they have to choose sides. It wasn't an active decision they made; it all happened organically.
The decision on which side to take was primarily informed by who each character hates less or loves more.
The divide between Sage and Collette is imminent because of the failed relationship and the fact that Collette feels loved and appreciated by Rigo.
Marquise didn't have anywhere else to go, and Angel would follow Marquise through the fires of hell. Odalie stays with Rigo because she's a Saprtika girl, and they back Rigo.

Oh, yes! That was one insane episode.
Step Up: High Water Season 3 Episode 3 delivered everything. There was romance, sex, betrayal, alliances, and not forgetting Rigo's one hell of a performance at the Bmt awards.
The previous two episodes have felt lazy; we were rehashing the events of the past two seasons. But this episode dials the drama up to one hundred percent.
The episode sets a grand stage for Sage and Rigo's never-ending rivalry. There is no better place for musical kings to face off than at a live televised event. Too bad Sage is banned, and Rigo is not invited.
Stakes are also raised when Rigo and Sage do some insane stuff, and Angel makes her play.
Not to blow my own horn, but rarely am I wrong when I talk about characters. It happens, but seldom. This was one instance in that I wished I was wrong about Angel.

“Dangerous Liaisons” is one of the great modern classic films — emphasis on modern. Though it was released more than 30 years ago, and concerns characters living their lives in 18th-century France, its interrogation of the carefully constructed performances people use to cover their basest desires and impulses feels as present-day as an Instagram filter.
Which makes an update of the property seem both intuitive and slightly wrongheaded. The film, based on a stage play that was adapted from Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ 1782 novel, is clearly mutable; however, to force onto it a self-conscious modernity is to over-prove the case. This is a story that was resonant in the first place — little adaptation needed.
But Starz and series creator Harriet Warner have entered the arena with a new adaptation that casts Alice Englert in the role Glenn Close made famous. In this prequel, Englert is not yet holding the powerful title of...

The tour is back on, baby!
On Step Up: High Water Season 3 Episode 2, all efforts are made to keep the tour on the road. With Sage under house arrest, they need someone to headline. Otherwise, they risk losing a whole lot of money.
While this is happening, relationships are transforming. One ends, another sets the potential for beginning, some become stronger, and another takes a hit.
Sage's legal troubles are far from over, but he has some immediate issues. Investors have put up their money for this tour and will be damned if they lose it. Sage has to think fast.
Tal and Johnny One are over. As a massive shipper of both of them, it was heartbreaking. They did it in the most amicable way possible, so maybe, there is a chance that they might get back together at some point.
Tal: Then why'd you come back?
Johnny: Are you serious?...
