Netflix’s upcoming romantic dramedy series “Partner Track,” set at a Manhattan-based white-shoe law firm, has been described as “Sex and the City” meets “Suits,” but for star Arden Cho the series is unlike any other that she’s seen on television. That’s because the story centers on a first-generation Korean American merger and acquisitions lawyer, Ingrid Yun (Cho), as she navigates everything from forbidden romance to microaggressions at the male-dominated company — something Cho said is hard to come by in shows about single 20-something women in New York City.
“Ingrid just sticks out to begin with,” Cho told TheWrap. “She is an Asian American woman, and there is some diversity at the firm but it’s very clearly noted. You’ve just got, ‘Oh, we’ve got a couple of people of color. Let’s stick them together, and that’s your diversity,‘ which is something we see happening in the world.

Netflix's teen drama Trinkets didn't take long to steal our hearts, and by the time we were done watching the first season, we only had one question on our minds: would it return for season two?
Fortunately, the streaming giant confirmed the exciting news on Monday with a video announcement that reveals the series will be back with a few changes in the works. While the core cast is still in place - Brianna Hildebrand, Kiana Madeira, and Quintessa Swindell - Charmed's Sarah Goldfinger is on board as the new showrunner.
Netflix, known for cranking out exceptional original content, released the show, which follows a trio of teen girls who go through the usual struggles of being, well, teen girls. However, there's an unexpected twist: they're all serial shoplifters who meet in a support group for kleptomania and instead start teaming up to continue stealing. The first season,...

The CW's reboot of Charmed may be coming back for a sophomore run, but it looks like there will be some big changes.
Showrunner Carter Covington is bowing out after just one season and is being replaced by Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro, according to Deadline.
The pair are said to be taking the series in a new direction, one that will focus more on the supernatural aspect as opposed to the family side of things.
While that's not to say the family dynamics will be left in the rear-view mirror, it does sound like the creative forces are more confident in taking the show in a darker direction.

After a week off, Da Vinci’s Demons returns just as bat-shit crazy as ever. In this penultimate episode of the season, most of the show’s weaknesses and strengths are on full display. Some of these storylines – after having given them the benefit of the doubt – just haven’t worked. At this stage in the game, Lorenzo’s political plays have become a distraction, leaving his character to fall to the peripherals of our interest. In fact, most of this political stuff between Florence and Rome is empty space eating up minutes. After last episode’s insane and enjoyable tangent involving Vlad the Impaler, it’s very obvious that the more seriously Da Vinci’s Demons takes itself, the higher the risk...

Grimm is at its best when the writers use the fairytales on which the series is based as a jumping off point rather than a blueprint for the whole story. A writer for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" has been used for allegedly naming two perverted characters in the show after a real-life couple.
Scott and Melinda Tamkin filed the suit on Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming writer Sarah Goldfinger sought revenge against them by using their names and likenesses to the characters that appeared in a recent episode of the CBS crime show.
The couple were allegedly involved in a failed real estate deal with the writer.
They claim that Goldfinger wrote their fictional counterparts "engaged in reckless lifestyle of sexual bondage, pornography, drunkenness, marital discord, depression, financial straights and possibly even murder," as quoted by TMZ.

A California couple is suing CSI: Crime Scene Investigation producers after a writer allegedly used their identities for diabolical characters in the drama.
Scott and Melinda Tamkin claim Sarah Goldfinger purposely named them in a bid to shame the couple over an ongoing dispute.
