The episode of Revisited covering Wrong Turn 2: Dead End was Written by Emilie Black, Edited by Juan Jimenez, Narrated by Niki Minter, Produced by Tyler Nichols and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
A long, long time ago, in a state deep in the woods, a bunch of people were eaten by cannibal hillbillies in a film called Wrong Turn. Soon, the locals to where the film was taking place got very angry about the depiction of their fellow mountain and wood residents, which they thought gave them a bad name. Horror fans responded by seeing the film anyways, making it a minor hit. The first film had a budget of $12.6 million and made $28.7 million at the box office. While this may lead to a sequel at times, it was not a given. Fast forward to 4 years later and we are gifted with the first of a long series of sequels.

A lot of talent has crossed the “Idol” stage since its debut on Fox in 2002. The show found a new home, ABC, in 2018. Each season thousands of contestants line up for their chance in front of the judges, but there can be only one winner. The following artists are part of a select few who made an impression on America so big they were able to overcome their loss and still find fame and fortune. You know them.

The circumstances surrounding Kendra Wilkinson's 33rd birthday are admittedly much different from past celebrations. The former reality TV star and Playboy model isn't married for the first time in nine years, and multiple sources tell E! News she'll be spending it with her children and a few close girlfriends instead of Hank Baskett this time around. Kendra, who filed for divorce from Baskett in April, is enjoying a "low-key day" with 8-year-old son Hank Jr. and 4-year-old daughter Alijah, one source says. The birthday girl also has plans to celebrate with a few gal pals, including American Idol alum Kimberly Caldwell and actress Jessica...

Our American Idol “journey” has come to an end, but let us not weep for what’s been cancelled, let us instead go to iTunes and download the Season 15 winner’s new single. Hey, from a songwriting vantage point, it may not be “Home,” but it definitely ranks above “No Boundaries” and “Inside Your Heaven” — and we bought those, too. And if this show can produce one more bona fide radio/touring superstar, maybe the inevitable reboot will happen sooner than expected, no?

Despite the fact that Kimberly Caldwell will be tying the knot to soccer player fiancé Jordan Harvey soon, the former American Idol contestant doesn't have bridal brain. In fact, she's got quite a lot on her mind, including developing her hair accessories line and trying to figure out what will happen on the next season of Sons of Anarchy. To find out just a few of her favorite things we played a rapid Q&A round with the star. Here's what she shared: The coolest thing I recently purchased was… Valentine lingerie at Forever 21 for $15! They are stepping it up. The fashion look I can't wait to rock is… My wedding dress. Thanks, Mom....

On the Series Premiere of "Best Ink" (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on Oxygen) the tattoo artists had to design a cover-up for an existing tattoo.
As the bottom three -- Jessica, Tiffany and Meghan -- stood nervously awaiting the judges' verdict they were treated to some very harsh criticism from judge Joe Capobianco.
"I don't want to use the word 'piss-poor,'" he told a crying Jessica, "but there are very few other words I'm gonna be able to match that with."
Then Joe turned his attention to Meghan. While he likes aspects of her design, he thought it failed as a cover up. His biggest beef with Tiffany's tattoo "was the color saturation."
In the end, it was Tiffany who became the first artist to hear host Kimberly Caldwell say, "Please exit the stage and clean out your tattoo station."
So, how does it feel to be eliminated first?...

There’s this weird part of the week — from Friday morning till Monday evening — when not a single major TV network airs a reality singing competition. It’s terrible, I know, but it also gives me a lot of time to ponder American Idol history. (Everyone does this in their free time, yes?) And my latest flight of Idol fancy got me mulling this question: Was Season 11′s Top 10 the strongest — top to bottom — in show history? Let’s examine:
For starters, I’d automatically rule out the five seasons with three or more Top 10 contestants who probably wouldn’t have outlasted Season 11′s No.

David Cook is getting ready to release his new record, “This Loud Morning,” on June 28th. He worked on his current single, “The Last Goodbye,” with none other than Ryan Tedder. The inspiration behind the album was all the good and bad he had experienced recently in life, things like the passing of his brother and being able to travel all around the world. At first he shelved all that reality to concentrate on writing the new album, but as we all know, things we shelve will inevitably come back to haunt us. But it was a good haunt, it helped complete the album. It’s his most therapeutic album to date. As for the first single, “The Last Goodbye,” it’s obvious this song is about a dysfunctional relationship and we can only guess who it’s about….perhaps Kimberly Caldwell? He wouldn’t say. The role call of seventh-place finishers on American Idol ranges from the back-to-back eyes-wide-open nightmares of Sanjaya Malakar and Kristy Lee Cook in Seasons 6 and 7 to the remarkable success story of Season 3 Wild Card Jennifer Hudson, who overcame the Pepto-Bismol Dress From Hell to scale Oscar- and Grammy-winning heights. In between those two extremes, though, the not-so-lucky No. 7 spot has been occupied by singers who showed early promise, then flamed out (Anwar Robinson, Kimberly Caldwell) and those whose “package artist” good looks carried them further than their vocal abilities might’ve otherwise suggested (Ryan Starr, Tim Urban, Ace Young). Are you ready to hear about Neil Patrick Harris' bedroom activities? His partner, David Burtka, will co-star in 'Foursome,' a sex-themed talk show set to air on E!. Sex talk will be a very big part of the equation.
"It's bound to be the hottest, hippest show on E! since 'Chelsea Lately,'" one insider who has seen the pilot told PopEater.
What will make it so hot is the fact that Burtka, along with ex-'American Idol' singer Kimberly Caldwell and two others, will be talking frankly about their own sex lives. This won't be 'Loveline,' folks.

The reaction to the shocking elimination of expected frontrunner Pia Toscano on "American Idol" Thursday night was fast and passionate. Thanks, of course, to the immediate power of twitter. A number of key former "Idol" contestants made their views known including Jennifer Hudson, Kimberly Caldwell, Blake Lewis and Melinda Doolittle. Hudson tweeted twice saying, "I can not believe they just eliminated pia ! ReAlly..????" She then later added, "Long as she walked away with that voice she will be alright !! Just hate to see talent like that go!" J-Hud was also eliminated surprisingly early during "Idol" season 3, but went...

The elimination of frontrunner Pia Toscano from "American Idol" on Thursday night, April 7 did not only upset the judges and stunned the audience, but also sent shock waves through the celebrities. From "Idol" alums to "Jersey Shore" stars, many have taken it to Twitter to express their disbelief.
Upon learning about the result, Jennifer Hudson, who was also sent home despite of her rave performance on season three, first wrote on her account, "I can not believe they just eliminated pia ! ReAlly..????" Hours later, she posted another message that read, "Long as she walked away with that voice she will be alright !! Just hate to see talent like that go!"
Another former "Idol" contestant Kimberly Caldwell expressed her shock as tweeting, "Did Pia just get voted off idol?! She's too hot for people to take her seriously! That's crap". Similarly shock with the result was Sammi Giancola of "Jersey Shore". Her last two tweets read,...

Eight years after graduating from "American Idol", Kimberly Caldwell is finally set to release her debut studio album "Without Regret". She worked with acclaimed musicians like Kara DioGuardi and Chad Kroeger in it. She wields her full-throttle belt to maximum effect on a series of emotionally resonant, pop-inflected rock songs, several of which she co-wrote.
Kimberly is going to drop the effort across the United States on April 19. In an exclusive interview with AceShowbiz, she talks about the upcoming effort, saying that she's excited to share her new music with fans. Beside talking about the album, she also discusses her favorite contestants of this season's "Idol" and her celebrity crush.
Asb: Your album "Without Regret" is coming in April. How do you feel about it?
Kimberly: Finally! Definitely glad I took the time I did to make the album I'm really proud of that really represents me so no regrets!

"American Idol" alum Kimberly Caldwell is prepping for the release of her first studio album, "Without Regret."
In this track-by-track video, Caldwell breaks down the inspiration behind each and every song in the album, including the bubbly first single "Desperate Girls and Stupid Boys" and "If You're Going to Fall."
"Without Regret" hits stores April 19, but in the meantime you can get a free copy of the debut single courtesy of Walmart. Caldwell joins Bruno Mars, Far East Movement and the Black Keys as the latest member of Walmart Soundcheck's Risers program.
Zap2it spoke with Caldwell not too long ago as part of our Celeb Slambook series, where she told us about her embarrassing Prom blunder and which of the new Idol judges she is dying to meet.

Kimberly Caldwell has become an expert in do-it-yourself glam. The "Desperate Girls and Stupid Boys" singer is pretty much always on the go and needs to be camera ready, even when she doesn't have a hair and makeup stylist handy.
The "American Idol" alum has perfected the art of creating red carpet looks in a flash, and now she's sharing her secrets with us.
In this special tutorial for Teen.com, Kim takes us step-by-step through applying concealer and a light base, to creating bold and dramatic eyes. To top it all off, she polishes her look with a little Lady Gaga lipgloss by Mac.
Check out the tutorial below. While you're at it, check out Kim's new tunes to help you get amped up for the big night out. Her album, "Without Regret" drops April 19th.

We make no apologies for loving catchy pop music, and right now we're totally digging Kimberly Caldwell's latest pop ballad "Desperate Boys & Stupid Girls." It's the first single off her debut album "Without Regret," which is expected to hit stores this April.
Zap2it caught up with the bubbly blonde, who first jumped into the lime-light during the second season of "American Idol," and asked her about everything from her most embarrassing moment, to her drink of choice (and we love that she's a tequila girl). She even spilled on which celeb she's dying to meet. See her 13 confessions below.
1.) Tell us one thing we don't know about you.
I hold the record for number of wins for Junior Vocalists on the original Star Search when I was eleven. It was my American Idol.
2.) If you had to choose another career, what would you be?
I think I would be a hair/makeup artist.

"American Idol" alum Kimberly Caldwell's latest official music video has hit the web.
We're loving "Desperate Girls & Stupid Boys," a catchy pop-ballad that will get stuck in your head whether you want it there or not. And Kimberly looks adorable in the video, despite its cheesy concept.
"Desperate Girls & Stupid Boys" is the first single off her debut album "Without Regret," which is expected to hit stores in April.
We don't think the video does the song justice, and the club scene is kinda reminding us of Ke$ha's "Blah, Blah, Blah." What do you think of it?
You can get your first peek of the next batch of "Idols" when Season 10 premieres on Wednesday (Jan. 19) on Fox.

The Season 10 premiere of "American Idol" is less than a week away and to make the days go by a bit faster, Zap2it decided to take a stroll down memory lane and re-evaluate the previous nine seasons.
Each day leading up to the premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 19, we will post a retrospective on each season. We're breaking it down into four categories: Best Performance, Worst Performance, Most Underrated Idol and most Overrated Idol. At the end, we will decide how the season stacks up against the rest, rating it as great, good, or not-so-good.
Yesterday, it was a look back at Season 1, the good (Kelly Clarkson!), the bad (Nikki McKibbin) and the ugly (Ryan Starr's wardrobe). Now it's Season 2's turn, which had arguably the most debated finale ever, as only 130,000 votes separated Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. We all know Ruben took home the title, but did he really deserve to him?...

We’re emerging out of the summer doldrums this week, although we’re still a bit sleepy. However, Avenged Sevenfold is sure to wake everyone up based on sheer volume alone. Plus, they are the first contender with an outside chance of knocking Eminem off the top of the Billboard 200. We don’t know what took her so long, but season two “American Idol” contestant, Kimberly Caldwell finally releases her debut album, plus Tom Jones takes us to church and Owl City shows off his early, acoustic work under the name Sky Sailing. Avenged Sevenfold, “Nightmare” (Warner Bros.): Metalheads return with their fifth...

Lysacek's secret identity, Caldwell's bloody prom and Saporta's badass past get revealed on the show, airing Saturdays at 11 a.m.

We all have huge memories — both wonderful and horrible — of being 17. MTV's "When I Was 17" features celebrities sharing moments that all of us can identify with (well, most of them anyway), and this week, Olympic medalist and "Dancing With the Stars" luminary Evan Lysacek, "American Idol" contestant Kimberly Caldwell and Cobra Starship's Gabe Saporta delivered in fine fashion.
Although Lysacek is a household name, back in the day, his friends didn't even realize he was training for Olympic glory. "For a long time, a lot of my friends didn't even know I was a skater, and the ones that did know didn't really understand the magnitude of it — that I was traveling all around the world to compete," he says on the show.

"I was so excited, and of course I had put on my 'I'm so cool, this is not too exciting' face. So we went to this restaurant, and before we even ate dinner, I tripped and I fell. My dress got split all the way up to my belly button, and my knee got a gash and it started gushing blood. It was a really, really sexy moment for me."

Caldwell, the bubbly blonde from Texas who impressed a nation of millions with her voice during the second season of "American Idol" and currently hosts a myriad of programs on the TV Guide Channel, was popular enough to get asked to the prom by an upperclassman. Kimberly Caldwell has turned heads on "American Idol" and the TV Guide Channel, and things were pretty much the same when she was 17 ... only, back then, she was turning heads for an entirely different reason: She was the girl positively covered in blood.
It seems that, back in high school, Caldwell was the talk of her prom, although not for any of the reasons the bubbly Texas blonde would've preferred. And on the next episode of MTV's 'When I Was 17," she spills the details about the prom-night mishap that haunts her to this day.
"When I was 17, I got asked out by one of the really hot senior boys to prom and I was, like, so excited," Caldwell said. "And so I'm with all these seniors,...

Cobra Starship frontman recounts a fateful class trip to Washington, D.C., on the latest episode.

This might not exactly come as a surprise, but when he was 17, Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta was a bit of a hell-raiser. Seems that the manic mastermind behind hits like "Good Girls Gone Bad" was never far away from trouble as a teen, much to the chagrin of pretty much every authority figure around him.
"When I was 17, I was pretty much just as obnoxious as I am now, but louder," Saporta laughed. "I went against the grain a little bit, and you always get in trouble when you do that. ... Teachers hated me."
As a straight-edge kid at a Hebrew school ("We had, like, 11 periods a day," he sighed), Saporta didn't have to work very hard to stand out from the pack. It just...

A lot of kids in high school are involved with sports; even Kevin Jonas owned up to his days as a pole vaulter. But very few teen athletes go on to the Olympics or end up competing on "Dancing With the Stars." That's the kind of glory Evan Lysacek was preparing for when he was 17.

Hey guys, Brian from tooFab here. We're going to try something new today -- because I hit up the " American Idol " finale and wanted to tell you about what you didn't see on the show.
