Born in Baltimore, Maryland. Michael had an appointment to and attended
the United States Naval Academy but was disenrolled for defective color
perception ( color blind ). He finished his military obligation by
serving 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. Michael is an avid
animal lover. He had a pet pig, Inky, for 15 years (now deceased)
that he rescued.

Was an interpreter and interrogator of prisoners for the Marine Corps in Southeast Asia, after attending Language school (Vietnamese) while stationed in Japan.
