Kara began her entertainment career while working as Community

Committee Lead for the Halftime Show, which featured No Doubt, Shania
Twain, and Sting. Kara moved to Los Angeles, where she worked on the
Oscars, Emmys, Comedy Central Awards ("The Commies"), and NBC /
DreamWorks pilot called "The Ripples" which starred Adam Arkin, Diane
Farr, and Chris Marquette. She worked at the Geffen Playhouse in
between television gigs and spent 6 months running a literary
management agency office - and 3 notable weeks working in a hellish
commercial talent agency. After moving back East, she worked on
occasional gigs such as Live 8 (Dave Matthews Band, Keith Urban, Stevie
Wonder, Will Smith, Sarah McLachlan, and others) and Elton John's
Freedom Concert in Philadelphia.
