Exclusive: Amazon Studios has acquired Brian Otting’s script Never Too Old to Die as a starring vehicle for Sylvester Stallone, Deadline has learned.
The action comedy to be produced by Stallone and Braden Aftergood for Balboa Productions watches as a mysterious murder within a retirement home for spies sparks a Cold War hero’s personal mission to find the assassin living among them.
This will be the first project falling under Stallone and Balboa’s multi-year, first-look deal with Amazon Studios, which we were first to report on last week — an agreement that will have Stallone write, direct, produce and star in both scripted and unscripted projects for the studio, for film and TV. A director has not yet been attached.
Stallone recently led the Prime Video superhero pic Samaritan and currently stars as New York Mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi in the acclaimed Paramount+ crime drama series...

Whether you’ve been using Twitter since 2006, are determined never to use it unless dragged kicking and screaming, or are somewhere in between, you probably know that it’s wildly popular with all sorts of people. In addition to the celebrities who make a big deal about Twitter (e.g., Ashton Kutcher), there are tons of people, both famous and not, who tweet about lots of interesting things.
Here's a updated list of people to follow on Twitter.

We learned a lot of things last night at the MTV Movie Awards -- like the fact that Team Edward is apparently more powerful than Team Jacob -- but when presenter Gary Busey stopped by the NextMovie booth on the red carpet, our correspondent Nar Williams learned far more than he expected.
Because Gary Busey... is a vampire.
Yes, in a video that you truly have to see to believe, the always awesome Busey not only revealed to us that he is in fact a "vampire with a day pass," he went on to prove it by literally biting Williams on the neck. We warned you to wear the garlic aftershave, Nar!
Of course, revealing himself as a nosferatu wasn't the only exclusive Busey treated us to. Before that, he weighed in on the "Twilight" vs. "Harry Potter" battle by delivering an inspired soliloquy about the collaborative nature of art.

It’s Super Bowl weekend, which means two things: You better get some Tums ’cause there’s chili coming, and you better have a good football movie or two to hold you over until the Sunday evening gridiron action.
Why do doubt everyone else on the Interwebs (not to mention their mothers) has a very serious list of The Greatest Football Films Ever Made in All of History, we figured we’d best serve you with our personal favorites, as embarrassing as some of them may be.
Go Team!
Kevin Polowy, Executive Editor: ‘Rudy’ (1993)
When I was in high school, the real Rudy Ruettiger came and delivered a motivational speech to the student body. Afterwards, I had him autograph a Styrofoam plate in the cafeteria. None of this has any bearing on why I love “Rudy,” just Fyi.
The real reason I love “Rudy” is not that it’s the ultimate underdog tale,...

If Scott Robson knows three things, it's movies, television, and online video. The current Vice President of Movie Content at MTV Networks has a resume ridden with properties and programs that brought news, gossip, and information about the silver and small screens to your computer screen. As Editor-in-Chief at AOL Moviefone and AOL Television, Robson revitalized one of Moviefone's flagship online video properties, Unscripted (an interactive take on blasé press junkets, where stars interview each other by way of user-submitted questions) and created a handful of his own; including The Show Girl (a fast-paced update of what's on TV with host Maggie Furlong), The Moviephone Minute (movie news and commentary in 180 seconds or less), and Outside the Box (like Unscripted, except with a focus on television). Before that, Robson was Executive Producer at the Los Angels Times' awards insider, The Envelope and Editor-in-Chief at E! Online. So, when MTV was...

'Nar Williams is the world's most enthusiastic nerd. I found myself curiously proud of him'
I'm a geek. In 1998, while co-presenting a radio show about technology, I was loaned a Diamond Rio, one of the first commercially available MP3 players. It connected to the computer via the parallel port, had a tiny monochrome LCD display, could store 32Mb worth of music (roughly an album's worth), and absolutely blew my mind. It had no moving parts! The music came from nowhere! It was clearly alien technology; an enchanted futuristic device straight from a Buck Rogers movie. Excited beyond belief, I ran all over London showing it to everyone I could find.
Absolutely no one gave a shit. "But there's no tape, no CD, no minidisc; the music comes from its memory!" I'd squeal. And they would yawn in my face.
A few years later these people could be found cooing...

Sponsored by At&T and produced by Crave Online, Fanboy Funhouse is a fast-paced hosted comedy series that uses geek culture news (movies, video games, comic books, and tech) as inspiration for comedic sketches and guest interviews all while following the antics of a crazy cast of characters including an ornery dragon, a janitor with a pig nose, and a talking brain who has a mancrush on Johnny Depp. The show is hosted, written, and produced by New Media veteran Nar Williams. Williams was formerly a producer at NowLive.com, has hosted over 150 episodes of the comedy podcast Goober and The Viking, and had another web video series with Crave Online called Heads Up with Nar Williams. He also has experience in television, having hosted Discovery Science Channel’s Science of the Movies, guest hosted on G4’s Attack of the Show, and appearing on Current TV’s Rotten Tomatoes Movie Show.

CraveOnline has launched Fanboy Funhouse , hosted by Nar Williams. "Fanboy Funhouse" is a bi-monthly variety style web show with a fanboy's insider look at the "most craved" topics in movies, gaming, comics, sports, gadgets and more. There are two episodes available so far. You can check out the debut episode in which the wacky season starts off with a bang as Nar covers Avatar and contemplates what it would be like to be a Na'vi. The Fine Brothers also stop by the Funhouse to talk about their wildly popular web series. In the second episode, Nar summons Orkon to consult the Draconomicon in an effort to stop Saug from giving into his dragonic blood lust. Jonathan uses his stealth to get on the inside of Obsidian Entertainment and get an update on the...

I'm proud of myself: Last year, I managed to spend more hours watching the Discovery Channel than America's Next Top Model marathons and learn important things like that the Real Genius house of overflowing popcorn could never have happened. This year, I'm going to try watching the Science Channel for more than Survivorman repeats. After viewing a clip from a six-month-old episode of Nar Williams' Science of the Movies currently making the Twitter rounds, I'm feeling optimistic. He finds out how they make the fangs on HBO's True Blood. The secret: They're lateral incisors (as opposed to canines), and modeled after Diamondback Rattlesnake fangs.
