It’s that time of the year again when we discuss the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Penned by J.K. Rowling, the Harry Potter books were something iconic that changed the genre of magic and spells. The faithful film adaptations added more charm to the books and made Rowling worldwide famous.
With iconic characters Harry, Ron, and, Hermione on a quest to save the world, the characters were quite phenomenal in their own way. Well…most of them. Ron Weasely, portrayed by Rupert Grint, could have been more than a third-wheel but it was Rowling’s emotional choice that saved Ron Weasely from trauma (and character development)!

Of all the roles Tom Felton has taken on to date, his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter saga will continue to be remembered as one of his best performances ever. But despite such a remarkable embodiment of the character that had fans loving him in that respective role, the 36-year-old actor has some serious regrets related to the same nonetheless.
Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy.
To be more precise, there is one scene from The Boy Who Lived’s saga that could have delivered the true respect that his character deserved. However, because of a series of unfortunate events for the young Malfoy, that scene never managed to make it to the final cut for the film and eventually transformed into one of Felton’s biggest regrets related to Potter’s Wizarding World.

The origin of one of Hollywood’s most iconic stars is a story stranger than fiction.
Cary Grant, who appeared in movies including “To Catch a Thief” opposite Grace Kelly, was born Archibald Leach in 1904 to an abusive father in the sleepy city of Bristol, England. While he was a child, Grant’s mother was secretly committed to a mental health hospital and publicly declared dead. The actor only found out she was still alive when he was 31 years old.
Grant is now the subject of “Archie,” a four-part biopic from “Philomena” writer Jeff Pope, made with the cooperation of his ex-wife Dyan Cannon and daughter Jennifer Grant. The series charts the actor’s rise to fame, his struggle with his demons and his relationships with the most important women in his life.

Fantasy films are hard done by when it comes to earning acting nominations at the Oscars. “The Lord of the Rings,” which was an academy darling, of course, only garnered one nomination for its cast across all three movies. That was for Ian McKellen who reaped a Best Supporting Actor bid for the first film in the trilogy, “The Fellowship of the Ring.” The likes of Andy Serkis, Sean Astin and Elijah Wood were repeatedly snubbed.
Harry Potter is another of those fantasy film franchises that was short-changed at the Oscars for its acting despite a plethora of excellent performances from the cream of the British crop. Not to mention the central trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint who developed from child stars to fully-fledged thespians across the eight-film series. With that in mind, let’s take a look at five performances in the Harry Potter film...

This post contains spoilers for "The Mandalorian" season 3, episode 6, "Guns for Hire."
One of the single biggest questions coming out of the second season of "The Mandalorian" was how the ownership of the Darksaber would shake out. The Darksaber itself is the blade of a Mandalorian Jedi, Tarre Vizsla, built centuries ago. Tarre Vizsla was the first Mandalorian Jedi and had a place of respect in the Mandalorian culture. When he died, the Jedi kept his blade — the unique, black-bladed Darksaber — in their temple. Later, the Mandalorians broke in and took it back.
The blade itself got passed down among the leaders of Mandalore. It was said that the leadership of Mandalore and ownership of the Darksaber had to be taken in open combat, but that tradition ended with the installation of the government of Duchess Satine Kryze. She worked to put the warrior past of Mandalore behind them.

Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav has suggested the company will try and make more Harry Potter sequels – with Jk Rowling’s involvement.
The company produced eight Harry Potter films between 2001 and 2011, starting with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and ending with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
In the years since the saga ended, Warner Bros has also produced three films in the spin-off franchise Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, also with Rowling on board.
However, amid underwhelming box office returns and controversy behind the scenes involving members of its cast, the franchise was seemingly abandoned after this year’s Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
During an investors’ call on Friday, Zaslav said (per The Hollywood Reporter) that the company was going to “focus on franchises” going forward.
“We haven’t had a Superman movie in 13 years. We haven’t done a Harry Potter in 15 years.

[The following story contains spoilers for Andor episode eight, “Narkina 5.”]
When Toby Haynes took over for creator Tony Gilroy as the director of Andor’s first block of episodes, he, too, was shocked by the bold direction of the show.
Besides heavier themes and a more serious tone, it was extremely important to Gilroy that his series have verisimilitude, and that meant foregoing the franchise’s fondness for prominent Easter eggs. Gilroy even encouraged his collaborators to put away their Star Wars fandom in order to make a show that isn’t hyperaware that it’s Star Wars.
Haynes, who’s a lifelong Star Wars fan, admits there was some concern about his passion for the franchise, but ultimately, he made it clear that he’s a storyteller first.
“[Tony Gilroy] was nervous about how much I love Star Wars, but I always say that I’m a dramatist first and a Star Wars fan second,...

JoJo Siwa solemnly swears she's up to no good. In preparation for Halloween, the "Boomerang" singer pulled on her best scowl and a pair of black-and-green robes to transform into Hogwarts's most entitled first year: Draco Malfoy. "This is Crabbe and Goyle, and I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy," Siwa mouths along to the character's iconic line from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" as she extends a hand toward the camera in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday. Selling us on the idea that polyjuice potion is real, Siwa also seemingly dyed her hair bleach blond and slicked it back in a perfect imitation of Tom Felton's 2001 costume.
From the hair to the button-up cardigan and tucked-in tie, every inch of Siwa's Draco Malfoy ensemble was perfection, but the best part of her costume was her commitment to impersonating the pretentious Slytherin.

Tom Felton has appeared in a surprise TikTok with his doppelgänger.
The Harry Potter star, 35, made a surprise cameo in a clip alongside Em Wallbank, a social media star who bears a strong resemblance to the Draco Malfoy actor.
“When Malfoy met… Malfoy!” Wallbank captioned the post.
“Honestly, wait till my father hears about this. There’s another Malfoy… I think he’s an imposter! Hello Felton…” she says to the camera, riffing on the infamous line of dialogue spoken by the character in 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Felton then appears on camera and repeats the line before telling Wallbank “bravo” for her uncanny performance.
“I think it’s only fair that we prove who the real Malfoy is here,” she says, to which Felton replies: “Can we start with a ‘Potter’?”
The pair then both say “Potter” in Malfoy’s accent. “Welcome to Slytherin,” says Felton...
