Barron Trump, 18, the youngest child of former President Donald Trump, has been selected by the Florida Republican Party as an at-large delegate for the state at the Republican National Convention.
According to Florida GOP chair Evan Power, Barron will join three of his other siblings, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump, among the 41 at-large delegates from Florida who have been selected.
Steve Witkoff, a luxury real estate developer and a longtime friend of the former president, was also selected as a delegate.
The other delegates include Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump Jr.’s fiancée; Michael Boulos, Tiffany’s husband; former state Attorney General Pam Bondi, who ran pro-Trump super PACs; and many state-level Republican politicians who took the risk of endorsing Trump over Ron DeSantis.
Barron has mostly stayed out of politics and is graduating from high school next week.

Brian Teta, the executive producer of The View, has signed a new contract for the show that will keep him at the often buzzy daytime talker for the next four years.
The show has been up 3% in total viewers season to date, and has continued to top daytime talk shows and news programs in viewership and households. There are signs of an election-year influence in the uptick: The day after the Iowa caucuses, when ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jon Karl guested, the show’s 2.85 million viewers was its most watched telecast in nearly two years.
“Every time there’s a big moment in the news cycle, whether it’s the State of the Union, or a Republican debate or anything like that, I see a spike the next morning, even in pop culture world where it’s something like the Oscars,” Teta said. “People are tuning in to see...

Donald Trump Jr. pressed his father, former President Donald Trump, to select a “strong “fighter” as his running mate.
In an interview with the New York Post, Trump Jr. highlighted the importance of choosing the right vice president, wanting someone who can take a punch and hit back harder.
“What I want in that role is, I want a fighter,” stated Trump Jr., “I understand what they are going to throw at us.”
“In 2016, you needed someone to balance out [the ticket] — that’s where Mike Pence made sense, sort of the yin and yang, but [given] the vicious nature of the swamp and the insanity we see on a daily basis, you need someone who can take those hits,” he continued.
Trump Jr. reveals that he’s been pushing people such as Vivek Ramaswamy, a former GOP candidate, and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson to be Trump’s running mate. Trump Jr.

6’7” Barron Trump Stars In Trump Family Christmas Photo, While Mom Melania Mysteriously Goes Missing
A Trump family Christmas photo posted to social media had a glaring omission – Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, was noticeably not present.
In a photo posted to Instagram stories by Kimberly Guilfoyle, the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., on her Instagram stories, a photo posted showed that Melania was nowhere to be found.
A spokesperson for Trump said that Melania was attending to a family matter. She was seeing her sickly mother, Amalija Knauss, who is currently in the hospital.
Her son, Barron Trump, however, towered over the rest of the family at 6’7”, stealing the show.
Melania is reportedly to step up her public appearances in support of Trump during his 2024 reelection bid. She has also made several public appearances in recent months, such as appearing at Rosalynn Carter’s funeral and a citizen’s naturalization ceremony.

Donald Trump Jr. has angrily accused Fox News of blocking him from the Fox News post-debate spin room on Wednesday night. Don Jr.’s father, former President Donald Trump, refused to participate in Fox News’ Republican debate, which included eight candidates.
The debate was a fiery two-hour affair, which included numerous attacks on the former president by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
The former president participated in a pre-recorded interview with ex Fox News host Tucker Carlson, which was released on X as counter-programming during the debate. Carlson was fired by Fox News earlier this summer when his racist texts were revealed in court.

Former Journey frontman Steve Perry has withdrawn his lawsuit against his ex-bandmates over the trademarks to 20 of the group’s biggest songs.
In Sept. 2022, Perry, who permanently exited the band in 1998, filed legal papers to prevent Freedom Jn LLC — a company headed by Journey’s Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain which holds the Journey trademarks — from using those trademarks on apparel and other merchandise.
Perry claimed that he, Cain and Schon had an agreement that required unanimous consent for any business decision related to the trademarks and that he had not authorized said consent.

Journey’s internal legal battles have spilled into Trump territory as guitarist Neal Schon has filed a cease-and-desist against his bandmate Jonathan Cain to prevent the latter from performing their hit “Don’t Stop Believin’” at Mar-a-Lago.

Saturday Night Live kicked off its Dec. 17 edition by parodying Donald Trump’s video announcement earlier this week that he’s selling NFTs, or what he calls “Trump Digital Trading Cards.”
In a video announcement earlier this week, Trump described the NFTs, which sell for 99 and reportedly sold out on the first day, as “pertaining to my life and career.” They portray Trump as an astronaut, cowboy, race car driver and superhero.

“This is Donald Trump, hopefully your favorite president of all time, better than Lincoln, better than Washington,” Johnson as Trump said, a direct quote from the real video, adding “frankly, better than Ezra,” a reference to the alternative rock band whose heyday was in the ’90s.

Prior to the start tonight’s Saturday Night Live, the sketch-comedy show announced on its Instagram that this would be Cecily Strong’s last appearance on the show after 11 years of hilarious service.

“We call them nifties cause they’re so neat,” Trump explained. “They feature incredible artwork pertaining to my life and my career.

The final “SNL” of 2022 opened, unsurprisingly, with a cold open sketch that took aim at Donald Trump’s “big announcement” launch of Nft trading cards earlier this week.
James Austin Johnson’s Donald Trump appeared, introducing himself as “hopefully your favorite president of all time” before talking about his NFTs which he pronounced “nifties,” adding, “I call ‘em nifties ‘cause they’re so neat.”
This launched into a showcase of various increasingly ridiculous trading cards that would appear onscreen accompanied by Johnson’s description of each: “For example, when I was an astronaut. Or me riding an elephant. You’ll get me melting Biden’s ice cream with my laser eyes.”
He added, “When you buy a card, you don’t get to pick which one you’ll get. It might be me on the cover of a romance novel. Me doing the splits. Me doing Titanic. Or even me as Jessica Rabbit.

James Austin Johnson returned as Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live as the show chose the most mocked topic of the week for its cold open: The former president’s real-life hawking of 99 digital trading cards.
SNL didn’t have to stray too far from the truth for its satire, not just of Trump grifting for money, but of the entire world of NFTs, in which people have been paying top dollar for items that exist only in the virtual world.
“You can also get them for free by just going online and looking at them maybe, I don’t know,” Johnson as Trump said in the sketch. “Maybe a screenshot but we’d really prefer it if you sent the 99.”

Kimberly Guilfoyle was slammed for her black dress at Tiffany Trump’s wedding this weekend.

The bride-to-be donned a white lace dress with puffed shoulders and cutouts on the side. She kept it simple with accessories, pairing a simple pair of earrings with her 1.2 million, 13-carat diamond engagement ring.

ABC’s The View was derailed on Monday as protestors interrupted the program multiple times during an interview with Sen. Ted Cruz.
Cruz, who was there to promote his new book, was answering a question when shouts could be heard from the show’s live audience. As the shouts continued, The View‘s moderator Whoopi Goldberg interrupted and addressed the protestors:
“Let us do our job,” Goldberg said. “We hear what you all have to say but you gotta go. You gotta let us do our job.”
The View then cut to commercial. However, when the show returned, other protestors began shouting, with the hosts suggesting that they were addressing concerns about climate change, rather than Cruz specifically.
“They’re accusing us of not covering climate change,” Sunny Hostin said, with conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin adding “they weren’t even protesting you.

Donald Trump still has the power to make Republicans fight each other for his approval, and he’s enjoying it immensely.
The former president “thought it was a thing of beauty and too goddamn funny” to endorse “Eric” in the Missouri primary and then to watch two Maga candidates — both named “Eric” — scramble to claim his favor, according to a person familiar with the ex-president’s thoughts.
On Monday, Trump wrote in a statement that “Eric” has his “complete and total endorsement” in the Missouri’s Republican primary for Senate.

Seth Meyers is among the many who don’t believe Donald Trump is even a little undecided about running for president again in 2024. In fact, on Monday night’s show, the host likened Trump’s attempts to play coy to a drunk college kid.
During his “A Closer Look” segment, Meyers honed in on Trump’s plan to pardon people involved with the January 6 insurrection, as revealed in the January 6 committee hearings, and his continued intent to do so if he were to get reelected.
“Most people should not be treated the way they’re being treated. And if I become president, someday, if I decide to do it, I will be looking at them very, very seriously for pardons,” Trump said at a recent rally. “Very, very seriously, should I decide to do that.”
At that, Meyers had a good laugh, poking fun at Trump’s repeated use of the word “if.

Trevor Noah thinks that Ripley’s needs to shoulder at least some of the blame for the significant damage done to the Marilyn Monroe dress that Kim Kardashian wore to the Met Gala, considering they gave her the green light to wear it in the first place.
“Kim obviously took a big risk and it backfired,” the late night host said during Wednesday’s “The Daily Show,” adding that Ripley’s still deserves “most of the blame.”
“They’re the ones who loaned the dress to Kim,” he argued. “Because Ripley’s owns the dress, they’re in charge of preserving it. So, if they told her it was okay to wear it, that’s on them.”

During this week’s January 6 committee hearings, it was revealed that Kimberly Guilfoyle was paid 60,000 for her brief speech that day introducing Donald Trump Jr. to the crowd. And while people were gobsmacked by the number, Seth Meyers couldn’t quite piece together why the intro itself was even necessary, considering the setting.
Following the hearing on Tuesday, it was revealed that Guilfoyle — who worked on Trump’s campaign and is engaged to Trump Jr. — was paid by Turning Point Action for her speech. Of course, “speech” is a bit generous of a term, considering her remarks lasted less than three minutes. But again, it wasn’t so much the amount of money that Meyers was confused by, as it was the necessity of it.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée and a former adviser to his father’s re-election bid, got paid 60,000 for her two-minute speech at the Stop the Steal rally that preceded the attack on the Capitol, according to one of the members of the January 6th Committee.
In an interview with CNN, Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-ca) said that Guilfoyle “was paid” for the introduction she gave at the rally, amounting to “60,000 for two and a half minutes.”
“I’m not saying it is crime, but it’s a grift,” Lofgren told Jake Tapper.
Tapper was elaborating on a part of Monday’s January 6th Committee hearing in which Lofgren introduced evidence that the Trump campaign collected 250 million from supporters in the aftermath of the election, ostensibly to pursue election fraud claims in the courts. In fact, though, much of the money went to the Save America Pac, including 5 million that went to Event Strategies Inc.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren presented evidence during the Jan. 6 committee hearing Monday detailing how the Trump campaign used the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen to con supporters to the tune of 250 million. The California Democrat went into more detail about the alleged scam later in the day while speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper.
Tapper asked Lofgren about a comment she made after the hearing about Trump and his family benefitting from donations meant to fund election integrity, and if they did so to the extent that it was criminal.

Donald Trump Jr. is set to meet voluntarily with the Jan. 6 committee in the next few days, multiple outlets reported on Thursday.
The committee has spoken recently with several members of the Trump family — though not former President Trump himself. Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump Jr.’s fiance and a former Trump campaign adviser, had a second meeting with the committee this week. (She was issued a subpoena after originally planning to cooperate.) Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were interviewed earlier this month.
The committee will likely be interested in Trump Jr.

“Saturday Night Live” took on Fox News’ coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the cold open of this week’s episode, complete with Donald Trump singing a romantic rendition of “My Funny Valentine” directly to Vladimir Putin.
The cold open introduced a telethon called the “Fox News Ukrainian Invasion Celebration Spectacular,” hosted by Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham (Kate McKinnon). The duo kicked off the festivities by acknowledging Fox News had gotten into a little bit of trouble with their coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“I kept asking, ‘Why do we hate Putin? Aren’t liberals in America even worse?,” Moffat’s Carlson said, as the two pointed to Fox News’ coverage leading up to Russia’s invasion, during which many pundits downplayed a potential move on Ukraine.
As for the focus of the telethon, Ingraham said, “We’re raising money for the real victims of this invasion: the oligarchs.

The round-table show “The Five” has proven to be one of Fox News Channel’s most durable properties. And yet, after a decade on air, the late-afternoon program can still surprise even the most veteran executive at the Fox Corp. cable-news outlet.
“The Five,” which these days relies largely on a trio of regulars and two rotating guests, outmaneuvered primetime colleagues like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity to become the most-watched show on the network — and cable news — in October, according to data from Nielsen. “The Five,” led by Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino and Jesse Watters, captured an average of nearly 3.11 million viewers during the month, compared to around 3.08 million for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” at 8 p.m. and nearly 2.74 million for “Hannity” at 9 p.m.
Carlson’s program continues to lead the network and the overall cable-news sector among viewers between the ages of 25 and 54, the demographic most coveted by advertisers in news programming.

A decade after “Lopez Tonight” went off the air, Latinos are still waiting for another shot, writes Afro-Latina comedian Suni Reyes
I’m an Afro-Latina whose favorite thing in the world (after warm donuts) is to make people laugh. For the past decade, I’ve been creating and performing comedy on New York City’s most renowned stages. I’ve done it all: stand-up, sketch, improv, raising a child. The dream was to one day get hired as a writer or a cast member on a late-night/variety show, or (dare I dream big!) to have my own show.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico by an immigrant mother from the Dominican Republic and a “jibarito” from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, so my mere existence has always been political. When I started doing comedy, I noticed that the “general” American audience didn’t know much about my people or what we represented.

Suni Reyes has heard it all. She’s been asked by casting directors to straighten her hair to conform the white European look they presumed all Latinas had; she submitted an audition tape for “Saturday Night Live” but knew that since they’d already cast one Latina they probably weren’t looking to add more; and after paying her dues for over a decade she’s still called and offered roles like maids and, famously, Delivery Driver No. 2.
But the Puerto Rico-born and raised actress and comedian hasn’t let any of that discourage her. In fact, she’s utilized that as fire to go viral and leave a greater impact than she thought possible. On top of her acting career, where Reyes has popped up most recently in the series “Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens,” Reyes has been regularly posting videos looking at political events, social issues, and even...
