"We had great stories to tell." Indeed they did! Some of the best. Disney+ has revealed an official trailer for a special documentary called "Timeless Heroes" - Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford, which showcases the creation of the legendary adventurer, streaming at the start of December this fall. "Discover the untold story of how Harrison Ford became Indiana Jones," is the one-liner for this one. And it looks like it should be a nice watch. This making of event focuses on legendary actor Harrison Ford (a "once-in-a-generation movie star") and how he got the job as Indy, how he is Indy, examining his entire life starting with his early years, eventually going through his five unforgettable performances as the whip-crackin' archeologist. It's made by a filmmaker who has been making Spielberg behind-the-scenes videos ever since 1990s. Featuring tons of new interviews & lots of great behind-the-scenes from the old days. Do not miss this – worth a look.

This past summer, Harrison Ford returned for one final adventure as the man with the hat, Indiana Jones. The franchise began with "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in 1981, and it wrapped up with "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny." Though the film didn't make as much at the box office as Lucasfilm and Disney probably would have liked after spending so much money on it, director James Mangold inherited the reins from Steven Spielberg and gave Indy a lovely send-off that was packed with adventure and heart.
Now that Harrison Ford is officially done playing Dr. Henry Jones Jr., Disney is paying a special tribute to both the legendary actor and the character he inhabited so masterfully. On December 5, 2023, "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" will debut on Disney+, and it will be accompanied by a new feature-length documentary called "Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford."

If there's anything Harrison Ford hopes he's made clear through his portrayal of Indiana Jones, it's this: You don't get to bring an icon to life on the big screen by having him stay exactly the same, frozen in amber, for over four decades. Although many questioned the need for a fourth "Indiana Jones" sequel this past summer. with James Mangold's "Dial of Destiny" -- citing the grizzled, 81-year-old actor's age as the biggest reason to leave this old-fashioned archaeologist in the past where he belongs -- Ford saw this as the biggest reason to make the movie in the first place. In fact, the idea of bringing something new to the character with every movie has been his one constant every time he suited up in that battered fedora and strapped on his trusty whip.

Although "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is probably the most widely beloved of them, a strong argument can be made that "The Last Crusade" is the real best entry in the Indiana Jones franchise. The duplicitous Elsa makes for perhaps the most compelling of Indy's love interests, and the introduction of Sean Connery as Indy's father paves the way for a more introspective look at Indiana as a person. "Temple of Doom" might technically be the only prequel in the series, but it's this third movie that seems most interested in exploring Indy's past.
The result is that this is the most intimate of the "Indiana Jones" movies, the one that cares the most about its main character's emotional journey. It's a choice that's reflected in the cinematography, which favors close-ups over the wider shots of the first two films. Some of the most memorable images of "Raiders" are...

This is what the Indianapolis Colts hoped for. They drafted quarterback Anthony Richardson in the first round and hoped his dual-threat ability would provide NFL highlights, points and put butts in the stands. All has happened. But the question was, can he stay healthy? He has missed most of the past two games, but that is why Indy had Gardner Minshew as a backup. The Colts have won two straight and will look to keep rolling, no matter who lines up under center, when they face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. Et. Matthew Stafford and the Rams are coming off a close loss Monday night, and have their sights set on a rebound. Will the Rams play spoiler or will the Colts keep rolling. Tune in exclusively on Fox, which you can stream with a live TV streaming service.
