Las Vegas police have taken one suspect in to custody and are on the search for more after armed robbers wearing pig masks burglarized a high-end retail store at the Bellagio Resort & Casino early Saturday morning, according to multiple outlets.
Police were called to the resort around 12:50 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Michael Rodriguez said — in response to false 911 reports of an active shooter, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported.
Upon investigation, Rodriguez said there was only one shot fired — isolated to inside the store, which was closed at the time, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported. No one was injured.

Painting started as a post-presidency pastime. But with the release this week of George W. Bush‘s first art book, the 43rd president of the United States can call his meticulous and dogged study of portraiture a labor of love.
“It consumed me,” Bush tells People of his just-published Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, a collection of paintings honoring the military men and women who have served the country since the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001.

Whether it’s acrobatics in front of the step-and-repeat (yes, that happened), a diverse group of women coming up with a Web series pitch in the bathroom (that happened, too), or actors meeting CDs who will later call them in (like May guest Lori Malkin), you never know what the Backstage Actor Networking Event will hold. The monthly meet up brings hundreds of actors to a swank Flatiron lounge for a night of cheap drinks, good times, and easy networking, joined this month by industry guests Scott Wojcik of Wojcik/Seay Casting and agent Michael Rodriguez of the Roster Agency. In his recent Bu Webinar “Become a Memorable Performer,” acting teacher and session director Shaan Sharma spoke about the importance of relationships when building an acting career. “As a professional actor you need people who can put you on tape, and who can rehearse with you, and motivate you to continue to stay committed.
