Donald Trump’s former executive assistant, Madeleine Westerhout, broke down crying on the witness stand while she was testifying in his New York hush money trial. On Thursday, Westerhout, a Trump loyalist, was called to the stand.
Westerhout was forced out of the Trump administration for revealing personal information about Trump’s family to the press.
Westerhout was fired from the White House after allegedly bragged to journalists at an off-the-record dinner that she had a better relationship with Trump than his daughters, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump Boulos.
She told journalists that the former president disliked being photographed with Tiffany because he viewed her as overweight. On August 30, 2019, she formally resigned as the former president’s executive assistant.
When the prosecution had asked the former executive assistant about the dinner with reporters, she began crying while talking about her “youthful indiscretion.”

S.W.A.T. is finally coming to an end with a seventh season. This was great news for fans and lead actor Shemar Moore, who fought for the show’s survival. While CBS canceled it after Season 6, a pushback caused the network to allow it to return for Season 7 so the series could wrap up its stories.
However, does this mean that some former actors who left the series like Kenny Johnson and Alex Russell could return? Here is what Shemar Moore had to say.
Could Kenny Johnson Return In The Final S.W.A.T. Season?
When CBS canceled S.W.A.T., Shemar Moore spoke up loudly supporting the series continuing for one more season. However, when the series was headed for its end in Season 6, one of the most important team members fell in battle and ended up forced into retirement.

On Friday, former White House press secretary and director of communications Hope Hicks delivered a powerful testimony against former President Donald Trump. On the third week of Trump’s Manhattan hush-money trial, Hicks became a key witness. The announcement of Hicks’ appearance stirred a whispers in the courtroom.
Hicks, 35, sat in the witness box and kept her eyes away from Trump. Not once did she look at her former boss, and she went into detail about his numerous scandals. Trump himself appeared indifferent during Hicks’ testimony, though the former president was seen whispering to his lawyer Todd Blanche.
Hicks was visibly nervous on the stand but still delivered a concise, three-hour testimony. She spoke positively about her career in the White House, praising the Trump family, before moving into Trump’s legal issues. Hicks discussed Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood clip where he talked about grabbing women’s genitals and the Stormy Daniels hush-money situation.

2nd Update 1:56 Pm: Not for the first time, Donald Trump made someone cry today.
Hope Hicks wept on the stand today in the hush money trial of her former boss moments after a prosecutor had finished questioning her about her dealings with Trump and Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen. Finished talking to Assistant D.A. Matthew Coloangela on the stand in Manhattan, the former White House Communications Director had just begun taking questions from a defense lawyer when she turned her head away from the courtroom gallery and, crying audibly, reached for a tissue to dab away tears.
“Ms. Hicks, do you need a break?” Judge Juan Merchan asked of the much anticipated witness. “Yes,” she replied in a shaky voice.
The court recessed for about 10 minutes, and Ms. Hicks returned to the stand. “Sorry about that,” she said.

In 1979, Ridley Scott unleashed the science fiction classic "Alien" upon audiences and unwittingly kickstarted a lucrative franchise comprised of seven sequels and an assortment of books, comics, and video games. In August 2024, Fede Álvarez plans to release "Alien: Romulus," which will hopefully push the series in a creative new direction, delivering more Xenomorph horror action for audiences to enjoy.
The "Alien" franchise has amassed $1.6 billion at the global box office, despite more than a few bumps. Films such as David Fincher's "Alien 3" and Scott's own "Prometheus" and "Alien: Covenant" divided audiences with their strange methodology. In contrast, the "Alien vs Predator" films never amounted to more than cynical cash grabs. These sequels/prequels also retconned important lore or added new details to the Xenomorph that do not jibe with previously established material, leaving fans scrambling to make sense of the "Alien" timeline. Some of their theories are perfectly acceptable,...

[This story contains spoilers from the season six premiere of All American, “Things Done Changed.”]
After nearly a yearlong gap since its season five finale, All American made its season six premiere on The CW on Monday night.
The sports drama that is centered around football player Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) — which has followed the star wide receiver and his friends from his days at Crenshaw High up through his freshman year at the fictitious Golden Angeles University last season — will mark 100 episodes on May 27. It’s a milestone Ezra says came as a shock to him, like many others in the series.
“When I was cast, that was a surprise. When the pilot got picked up, that was a surprise. I didn’t expect any of it,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “It took me two seasons to give up my apartment in London. I just thought, ‘They’re going to send me back.’”

Hope Hicks, the former close aide to Donald Trump, is expected to testify in the former president’s upcoming New York criminal trial related to hush-money payments to former porn actress Stormy Daniels.
NBC News, citing an unnamed source, reported earlier Monday that Hicks was expected to be a witness for the prosecution. ABC News also reported that Hicks was expected to take the stand.

S.W.A.T. could be a perfect example of how a network can mishandle a reliable performer.
Based on its ratings, S.W.A.T. should have been a sure shot for CBS to renew.
In Live + 7 results, S.W.A.T. Season 6 averaged 6.8 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the demo.
This made the series the No.3 show in the demo on the network and No. 10 among total viewers.
Despite that, the ax fell on S.W.A.T. last May, with storylines left hanging, the worst possible fate for a veteran series.
Star Shemar Moore blasted the decision because he and the other cast members saw those rating numbers and felt confident about a renewal.
The cancellation stood for two days. Then CBS caved in the face of a deluge of outrage from the series' fans, and S.W.A.T. was renewed for a 13-episode final, seventh season, giving it a chance for closure.

Few people better capture the sublimity and silliness of today’s red carpet spectacle than the artist Angelica Hicks.
The 31-year-old Brooklyn-based Brit started her career as a cheeky illustrator, making a name for herself with fashion drawings that featured winking wordplay, like a model wearing Ysl logo earrings with the caption “Yves Dropping.” (Get it?)
But one day, on a whim, she took to Instagram to replicate a runway look she saw by cutting a hole in a shopping bag and wearing it as a squared-off top. Her ingenuity garnered enthusiastic online praise, so she continued, duplicating a model in a ruffled blouse and cloche hat using crumpled tissues and a mixing bowl. “The humor is in approximating the look as closely as possible,” Hick says. “So it’s this perfectionism mixed with the absurd and a little English deadpan.”

Art collectively refers to reproductive health techniques, procedures, and devices that help infertile women achieve pregnancy. For decades now, several techniques of Art have been in use with varying pregnancy success rates, but the most performed one now is called in vitro fertilisation (IVF).
A procedure of IVF is typically referred to as a cycle, as it usually takes approximately two weeks to complete the standard fresh IVF cycle given the number of time-sensitive steps involved.

Pitter-patter, let's get at 'er, because the Canadian comedy series "Letterkenny" is back for its 11th season. What started out as a YouTube web series called "Letterkenny Problems" has since grown into one of the funniest and most popular shows on TV, following the residents of Letterkenny, a fictional rural town in Ontario based on show creator Jared Keeso's hometown.
The residents of the small community fall under three major groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, but all three are ready for a brew, a brawl, or a beaut at any given opportunity. Whether it's chorin', sharing a Puppers with your best bud, or trading fisticuffs, the residents of "Letterkenny" do it faster, tougher, and with snappier wit than anyone else on the planet. With the return of the show just around the corner, here's everything you big shoots need to know to prepare, and more.

Update: The January 6th Committee recommended that the Justice Department pursue four criminal charges against former President Donald Trump along with others they claim helped orchestrate an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
The charges include obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to make a false statement and inciting, assisting or giving aid or comfort to an insurrection.
It will be up to the Justice Department to decide whether to file charges, but the move is the first time that a former president has faced a criminal referral such as this one.
Rep,. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who outlined the recommendations, also named for potential prosecution John Eastman, the college professor who pushed an effort to install “fake” electors in advance of the joint session of Congress to certify the election results.
Raskin said that others were also involved, but the committee...
