Christopher Nolan’s take on DC’s superhero flick The Dark Knight undoubtedly changed pop culture’s understanding of Batman to such an extent that no other Batman movie could match his level. But it seems that Matt Reeves finally broke Nolan’s record with his darker and more serious Caped Crusader film The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson.

Blink 182 musician Tom DeLonge is channeling his passion for UFOs and extraterrestrial activity into a feature film, titled Monsters of California and releasing this October.
Gizmodo shares the official trailer for Monsters of California this morning – you’ll have to hit up Gizmodo to watch it – and they’ve announced an October 6 release date as well.
On that date, the film releases in theaters as well as On Demand platforms at home.
This might surprise you given Tom DeLonge has never directed a feature film before but Monsters of California looks Excellent, and it’s clear from the trailer alone that DeLonge has a serious talent for filmmaking. It looks like he poured absolutely all of himself into this one, even using the classic Blink 182 song “Aliens Exist” to bring nostalgic gravitas to the trailer.
Honestly, as a massive fan of Blink 182 growing up, the song usage sent chills up and down my spine.

For more than five decades, true crime theorists have clung to the notion that the grisly San Francisco Bay Area murders were diabolically executed by one man who became known as the Zodiac Killer.
The chilling, cryptic letters sent to area newspapers with the demand to be published to the string of five murders spanning from 1968 through 1969; the cold case of a serial killer who preyed on young people became an obsession for some theorists, even to this day.
But what if everyone was wrong about the Zodiac Killer? And the string of murders wasn’t random causation but was individually motivated by different killers.
What if the Zodiac, ghoulishly depicted behind the coded letters was actually not the killer at all? But a troll who latched onto news of the murders and strung them together to appear as though they were the work of a single madman?

The mysterious case of the Zodiac Killer has baffled experts and investigators for over five decades, remaining unsolved to this day. Despite numerous efforts to crack the case, no significant clues have emerged that could lead to the identification of the killer. One of the key challenges in unraveling the mystery lies in the contradicting descriptions provided by witnesses, which greatly vary when it comes to the physical attributes of the murderer. Additionally, the ballistic evidence and fingerprints collected from the crime scenes do not definitively point to a single individual committing the crimes. While the globally accepted theory pointed to a single killer, the inconsistencies in witness testimonies and forensic evidence cast doubt on this hypothesis.

For the thousands of online sleuths devoted to cracking the Zodiac Killer case, Peacock's latest true-crime series is downright blasphemous. Based on a theory put forth by academic Thomas Henry Horan, Myth of the Zodiac Killer views the infamous unsolved murders and the corresponding cyphers and letters with a heavy dose of skepticism. Unlike the legions of detectives (of both the legitimate and armchair variety) who believe a single man murdered five people in the San Francisco Bay Area between December 1968 and October 1969, Horan posits that the crimes were unrelated, and, as such, "the Zodiac Killer is a fictional character."...

Anime has an uneven track record of being adapted in live-action outside of Japan. Asian filmmakers have made plenty of movie versions of beloved manga and anime series, but in Hollywood, there is a Ghost in the Shell for every Alita: Battle Angel. Thankfully, Sony has invested in an international cast for the live-action take on Saint Seiya with the clout of some familiar faces for the upcoming Knights of the Zodiac.
Knights of the Zodiac tells the story of a headstrong street orphan, Seiya, in search of his abducted sister who unwittingly taps into hidden powers, he discovers he might be the only person alive who can protect a reincarnated goddess, sent to watch over humanity. Can he let his past go and embrace his destiny to become a Knight of the Zodiac? The film stars Mackenyu as Seiya, Madison Iseman as Sienna, Sean Bean as Alman Kido, Famke Janssen as Guraad,...
