Fango just heard from Frank Garfi of Insane-o-Rama Productions, the New York-based outfit behind the ambitious horror dramas Strange Things Happen At Sundown and Za—Zombies Anonymous (a.k.a. Last Rites Of The Dead). He called in from the Poconos, where he’s busy lensing their latest production, Hellfire.
“It’s about four prostitutes who accidentally kidnap the Antichrist,” Garfi says of the movie, which he’s producing and Marc Fratto is directing from his own script. “It’s a little different from what we’ve done before. Our other movies have had multiple stories that come together as one in the end, while this is one story from beginning to end—a very tight, straightforward script. We’re very happy with it.”
Hellfire features “an incredible cast” led by J. Scott Green (from Strange Things and Za, plus James Tucker and Joshua Nelson’s Pink Eye and Eat...
