Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “American Horror Stories” Season 1, Episode 6, “Feral,” streaming now on FX on Hulu.
The penultimate episode of “American Horror Stories” took a look at the classic horror trope of “something terrifying is lurking in the woods.” It followed a family on a weekend camping trip led by a father, Jay, played by Aaron Tveit. Yes, he was back in a different role than Adam in the “Rubber(wo)man” two-part premiere.
Jay said the trip was about “experiencing nature,” but the show definitely took that to the extreme. The first scene of his family in the car driving out to the national park already implied something was off about his 3-year-old son, Jacob (Colin Tandberg), which in hindsight was obviously done on purpose.
But anyway, at the campground, the family’s site was in the very back of the area,...

ABC is making some decisions about its remaining pilots, and it's bad news for three promising ideas.
Kevin Costner-executive produced National Parks Investigation, Triage, and Dark Horse are no longer moving ahead at the network.
The good news is that National Parks Investigation and Dark Horse are both being shopped to other outlets, but the jury is out on whether Triage will be shopped.
National Parks follows the elite special agents of the Investigative Services Branch who are tasked with solving the most complex and heinous crimes committed within the diverse and majestic National Parks of the Isb’s Pacific West region.
The cast included Billy Cambell, Angel Parker, Gerardo Celasco, Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut, Blu Hunt, Tiffany Dupont, and Guillermo Diaz.
Something tells us this one would serve as a good companion to Yellowstone over on Paramount.

It’s been a busy day at ABC.
The network has handed series pickups to pilots The Wonder Years, Queens, Maggie and Abbott Elementary and passed on pilots including Sam Esmail’s Acts of Crime and comedies Black Don’t Crack and Bucktown.
But there are five pilots that are still in consideration for the 2021-22 broadcast season, including Kevin Costner’s National Parks Investigation, that will be considered for midseason.
These also include Dark Horse, Epic, Promised Land and Triage.
Dark Hose, Epic and Promised Land have yet to be filmed and will be considered after the upfronts, while the off-cycle Triage pilot was produced and went through a rollercoaster ride of a poorly received first cut, highly testing second cut and so-so screening response. National Parks Investigation was considered a wildcard for fall consideration but a final, broadcast-length cut of the pilot, was not delivered in time.

The story told in Brian Banks is unfortunately all too familiar. The eponymous biopic, directed by Tom Shadyac, chronicles the true story of the All-American football player who had committed to USC by his junior year, then had his life upended when he was falsely accused and convicted of rape, to being exonerated, and finally reaching his goal of playing in the NFL.
Throughout his 10-years in the prison system, a sentence he received despite the lack of evidence to support the accusation, Banks never wavered in maintaining his innocence. Ultimately, with the help of Justin Brooks and the California Innocence Project, Banks’ conviction was overturned in 2012, his name was cleared, and he was finally free to pursue his NFL dreams.
Speaking at the 25th annual Essence Festival in New Orleans, Banks described the film as a “full circle” moment. “It’s really surreal to have gone through such a traumatic experience…...

The return of Supernatural Season 8 last night took this beloved CW series in a new direction. What did you think of "Torn and Frayed?"
As you consider the past, let's also look ahead to the future... especially because it will feature the return of Felicia Day as Charlie!
This actress makes an appearance on "Larp and the Real Girl," as Sam and Dean investigate the deaths of two Live Action Role Players and find themselves in a world dominated by kings, queens and a fairy (guest star Tiffany Dupont). It looks to be an especially enjoyable hour of television.

Felicia Day is returning to "Supernatural" in the January 23 episode, entitled "Larp and the Real Girl," and that can only mean good things for fans. Good things like Jensen Ackles dressed up in medieval garb.
When Sam and Dean investigate the mysterious deaths of two big-time geeks who were into live action role-playing, they're pretty psyched to discover that they've already got an ally on the inside. Charlie, who helped them out during their epic battle against Dick Roman last season, is Queen of the LARPers.
No, seriously. She's got a crown and everything.
The episode also reunites Dean with one of his favorite supernatural foes: the fairy. The boys learn that a fairy (Tiffany Dupont) is responsible for the tragedies in the LARPing community, but she's not harming people of her own free will. She's got a master, and unless they find the puppeteer, there are bound to be more deaths.

Secret agent Paul Ross (Randy Couture) and his team are tracking a terrorist group “The Tribe.” When Ross' team is wiped out in a raid gone wrong, he inadvertently discovers a lead back to a luxury jet flight and talks his way on-board. Coincidentally, his former fiance Olivia (Tiffany Dupont) is also on-board, and when the plane is hijacked, Ross has to protect Olivia and the rest of the passengers and take the plane back from the terrorists. Strangely enough, I was excited about Hijacked. My expectations were very low, and the back cover description was pure cheesy goodness packed full of terrible airplane puns. “The 'fasten seatbelt signs are off...and one very pissed-off agent is now free to move about the cabin.” Who doesn't want to watch that? Imagine my surprise that Hijacked is really, really boring.

Ufc legend Randy Couture and actor Dominic Purcell star in this latest straight-to-home video airplane actioner Hijacked, directed by Brandon Nutt. The film comes to Blu-Ray and DVD on July 31st, 2012.
We previously posted a trailer and a clip from the film and now we have two more clips featuring our action stars flexing their acting chops, while taking out a few baddies in the process.
I’m not usually one for this grade of film, but occasionally something like Hijacked can provide you with 2 hours of mindless entertainment and nonstop laughter. The acting looks cheesy and over-the-top, while the violence looks painfully rendered in CGI and not all that creative. I’m willing to give this one a shot, but only because Hijacked could become something of an underground classic.
Clip one is titled Cargo Hold and it briefly shows Couture and Purcell as they tussle with a possible rogue agent.

The second aeroplane-set film I’ve watched in as many days, Hijacked is, for wont of a better explanation, a quasi-remake of Executive Decision with Vinnie Jones in the Steven Seagal role and Mma star and member of The Expendables, Randy Couture, in the Kurt Russell role. See where this is going?
Tough Us government agent Paul Ross is at the forefront of an international operation to smash a global terrorist organisation and crime syndicate known only as The Tribe, a group notorious for obtaining its funds from the drug trade and illegal arms dealing. When a tip-off as to the whereabouts of the Tribe’s leader turns out to be a set-up that lands Ross in the middle of a bloody firefight...

Oh look, Vinnie Jones is like totally not playing a bad guy in “Hijacked”! Then again, this is Vinnie Jones, so he might end up being a bad guy posing as a good guy. You never know with him. Ol Vinnie has a habit of tricking you like that onscreen. Anyways, check out a clip from “Hijacked”, which stars Randy Couture of Ufc Fighting Championships fame, who can also next be seen in “The Expendables 2″. Special Agent Ross’ (Couture) plans to reconcile with his ex-fiancée are ruined when she boards a private jet that is targeted by hijackers working for the same crime lord that he is chasing. With no time to inform his team, Ross wriggles his way aboard the aircraft and risks it all to save the love of his life. Hijacked is an adrenaline-fueled action-packed film that puts the fear back in flying! Also starring Dominic Purcell (Straw Dogs,...

Well, that was fun. Castle aired "Undead Again," the second to last episode of Season Four, this week and the outing consisted of breakthroughs, decisions and zombies. Let’s discuss.
Undead? This week’s case focused on an attack by a zombie. Going into this episode and having ready the description, I was a little hesitant. The idea seemed a little far fetched, even for Castle, but I was so wrong. The episode was light hearted and fun, just the way we like this series.
I have to admit the blue eyes and some of the makeup freaked me out a bit. But serious kudos to the makeup department for making me question the reality of zombies, if only for a minute. Hey, Ryan did the same thing!
Did anyone notice that Gretta was played by Tiffany Dupont, formerly of Greek fame? It was good to see her back on TV!

Mac (Gary Sinise) talks about a sniper loose in the city and proceeds to tear up the paper he was meant to read from. He's only talking to his lab and not as we were lead to believe at a press conference, which comes later. An attempt to fool us into thinking he was defying orders. Mac defy orders, never, well maybe once or twice...As he mentions the sniper we see him in action, taking out another victim. I like the scene where everyone looked like they were suspended in time as the camera pans around them, anyone was a potential target. Mac mentions ballistics reveal that shots were fired about 300 yards from a high powered rifle. The sniper is "precise, determined and leaves no witnesses." Hawkes (Hill Harper) interrupts Sid (Robert Joy) as he's counting the fragments retrieved from the first Vic. Hawkes "missed the no vacancy sign outside.

"Agents for Change" marked the return of Frannie, the unlikely pairing of Rusty and Evan, and even a Justin Bieber concert.
Indeed, Tiffany Dupont reprised her role as Frannie Morgan, looking as great as ever. Her appearance led to some tension-filled scenes with Casey, making me nostalgic for seasons past. This girl was always a layered complication and it felt good to have her back for an episode.
The best part about Frannie showing up in Cyprus Rhodes? Cappie’s reaction. Aaaahhh!
Who else is up in the air about Calvin’s position at Omega Chi? Part of me really wants him to leave and go join the KTs. It was awesome for him to stand up for Dale once again. The real brothers on this show are Calvin, Dale, and Rusty.
Chambers International purchased the patent for Rusty’s wire, causing Rusty and Evan to spend some time together.

The students of Cyprus-Rhodes University will be staying in school for one more year. ABC Family has renewed Greek for a fourth season but will it be cancelled after that?
Created by Patrick Sean Smith, Greek follows the life of college students at a fictional university and the social minefield of the Greek system. Principal performers include Amber Stevens, Clark Duke, Dilshad Vadsaria, Jacob Zachar, Jake McDorman, Paul James, Scott Michael Foster, Spencer Grammer, and Tiffany Dupont.
Currently ABC Family's longest running series, Greek has continued to be a solid performer. The series has been achieving significant gains in the key demos in its current third season which is expected to conclude on March 29th.
Reportedly, the show was barely renewed and the decision hinged on finances. The episode order reflects that.
