Prime Video also announced the renewal of the Emmy-nominated docu-follow series Coach Prime for a third season. For the upcoming season, Coach Prime will once again transport fans inside the locker room and onto the field of Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders’ University of Colorado Boulder (Cu Boulder) football program.
Coach Prime is executive produced by Smac Entertainment’s Constance Schwartz-Morini, Michael Strahan, FredAnthony Smith, and Jamie Elias. Micah Brown also serves as executive producer and showrunner. The network has greenlit Pathological, a true-crime doc about conman Stéphane Bourgoin and Sally, a feature doc about space pioneer Sally Ride, while Anthony Mackie is taking Shark Beach over from Chris Hemsworth.

Richardson will handle strategic oversight of Vcni’s legal and business affairs for the U.K., including managing legal risk and delivery across the company’s commercial strategy. She will also be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of all content broadcast across the company’s U.K. networks.

Animal Planet has renewed “The Aquarium” for Season 2, TheWrap has learned exclusively.
The series documents the daily work at the Georgia Aquarium and its global conservation efforts. Season 1 followed the biologists, researchers and aquarists during their day-to-day activities. Animal Planet audiences were introduced to an array of animals, including southern sea otter pups, Mara and Gibson, who were rescued from the California coast; African penguins Charlie and Lizzie, who have been together for 25 years; a very curious rescued green sea turtle named Tank; and a plethora of other animals that reside at the aquarium including jellies and piranhas.
The staffers also traveled to Cape Town, South Africa to help rehabilitate African penguins and assist in the release of a group of these penguins back into the wild.

AMC and Norman Reedus will keep their motor runnin’. More than two weeks ahead of the Season 3 premiere of Ride with Norman Reedus, the cable net said today that it has renewed the motorcycle travelogue for a fourth season. Production begins this month.
The unscripted series follows The Walking Dead star and motorcycle enthusiast Reedus as he hits the road to explore different cultures and experience the best scenery, food, nature and local activities in the United States and around the world. AMC has renewed “Ride with Norman Reedus” for a fourth season.
“Season 3 was a blast – we had a ton of fun traveling the world and the U.S. with some really awesome guests,” said Reedus. “We’re looking forward to turning that up even further for season four. I can’t wait for everyone to see it all.”
The renewal comes ahead of the Season 3 premiere on Feb. 10 at midnight following the midseason premiere of “The Walking Dead” and “Talking Dead.” In addition, the entire third season will be available early to AMC Premiere customers on Friday, February 8.

AMC’s “The Walking Dead” will return for the second half of season nine on Sunday, February 10th at 9:00 p.m. Et/ Pt as announced by Chris Hardwick on last night’s “Talking Dead.” Hardwick also revealed that the season three premiere of “Ride with Norman Reedus” will air at midnight that same evening.

Exclusive: Left/Right, the production company behind nonfiction series Mob Wives and Showtime’s This American Life among other fare, has hired two execs and promoted aonther. Nina Diaz, an executive producer on Mob Wives, has come aboard as Svp Current Production, while keeping her duties on the VH1 series. Her credits include showrunning The Real Housewives Of New Jersey and creating My Super Sweet 16 and Cribs. Also joining Left/Right is Angie Day as VP Development and Current Production.
