The 2023 winter edition of Love Island is well underway, with new bombshells coming thick and fast.
On Tuesday’s (7 February) episode of the popular ITV2 reality series, Claudia Fogarty became the latest new addition to the villa.
But who is she, and what has she said about joining the show?
Claudia is a 28-year-old fashion boutique owner from Blackburn.
Speaking about her decision to go on the show, she said: “It’s come at the perfect time in my life. I’m 28, I’m not getting any younger and I’ve been single for eight months, so I feel ready to settle and find ‘the one’.
“I’m done with the ‘bad boys’,” she added. “I just want to find my person and now is the right time.”
Claudia is also the daughter of motorcyclist and I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner Carl Fogarty.

Sometimes, it takes a little while for a director to find their latest muse. David Cronenberg worked with many leading men throughout the 20th century — Jeff Goldblum, Jeremy Irons, James Spader — but since 2005, his go-to star has been Viggo Mortensen.
The director and actor pair have made four films together. Their first was "A History of Violence," a tale of murder infesting small town America à la the Hitchcock classic "Shadow of a Doubt." Next came "Eastern Promises," a Russian gangster drama set in London. Mortensen was just a supporting player in "A Dangerous Method," playing Sigmund Freud opposite Michael Fassbender as Carl Jung and Keira Knightly as Sabina Spielrein. For their latest collaboration "Crimes of the Future," released in 2022, Cronenberg went back to his body horror roots. Mortensen plays Saul Tenser, a man who spontaneously grows new organs and has his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux) surgically remove the aberrant organs in avant-garde art shows.

Scanning one of David Cronenberg’s most popular, most flawed films.
Memory is a funny thing. Not funny, “haha,” so much, but funny in that hilariously terrifying way that makes you realize your own brain is out to destroy you. The fitting inspiration for this epiphany of corporeal opposition was a recent revisit of David Cronenberg’s Scanners.
You know Scanners. You may not have seen the movie, but at the very least you know it as a meme. If you’ve ever been scrolling through social media on that day when your geeky cousin (the one you forgot to wish a happy birthday because you could not spare the finger energy) has had just about enough, you’ve probably seen a colorful gif (that’s “G-if,” not “J-if” you heathens) of a man’s head exploding in gory detail.
Despite occurring a mere fifteen minutes into the film, that head explosion scene is certainly Scanners’ centerpiece...

Catalog From the Beyond is my chance to take a look at some of the movies found a little further down cinematic icons’ filmographies. Most of our favorite directors have plenty to offer beyond the material they’ve become irrevocably linked to over the years. These films may be only slightly lesser-known than their big name counterparts, or they may be movies no one has ever heard of. They might be hidden gems that don’t get enough love, or it may be a title that jumps out of the horror genre.
In fact, that’s just the type of movie I’d like to start with in my first go-around. It’s a movie that, while certainly dark, isn’t typically acknowledged as a horror film. It is, however, the work of one of my favorite horror directors of all-time. Today, we take a look at A History of Violence.

It feels like only yesterday that Gemma Collins was crying mascara stained tears while complaining of contracting malaria - but this year's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here is now just a mere month away.
Last year's series saw Carl Fogarty crowned King of the Jungle. But which stars will be enduring the Australian kangaroo anus-eating adventures on the ITV show this year? Here's the rumoured line-up so far:
Stephanie Davis
Who? Former Hollyoaks actress who was recently axed due to being "unfit to work because of alcohol consumption".
The rumour: The 22-year-old is reportedly "hot property" as a number of reality shows try to sign her up, according to The Mirror's unnamed insider. The star - who played Sinead O'Conner for five years in the Channel 4 soap - is no stranger to TV competitions, previously taking part in Over the Rainbow - a BBC One talent...

30. Lady Snowblood Part 1 and Part 2
While American comic books have struggled for legitimacy as adult entertainment for decades, their Japanese counterparts have long enjoyed acceptance as legitimate elements of mainstream culture. So while the American comic book movie only properly took off in the last fifteen years, jidaigeki adaptations of popular manga have been a staple of Japanese pulp cinema since the early 1970s. The best of these remains Lady Snowblood, director Toshiya Fujita’s two part revenge opera of a woman checking off a kill list of the gangsters who killed her family and left her for dead. Any familiarity to Kill Bill is entirely intentional, with multiple visuals, soundtrack elements and plot points lifted whole cloth by Tarantino. But even for those only familiar with the update, Fujita’s films remain feats of hard edged efficiency, actress Meiko Kaji a goddess of death in a world of opposing colors and sudden violence.

The remaining I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! campmates spoke about their jungle highs and lows in tonight's show (December 6).
Edwina Currie got the ball rolling by comparing the experience to "childbirth".
"When I first entered the jungle, I had no idea how I was going to cope," she admitted. "Nothing compares to it, apart from childbirth perhaps.
"I think I knew I was definitely going to be one of the mouthy ones. Almost immediately, I found myself in a row. Kendra went pow. She was a lot less aggressive after that."
Edwina then turned on her frisky side and shared what she found was the best bit of nature.
She said: "I've loved being here admiring nature, trees, breeze. The best bit of nature, of course, is blokes with relatively little on. Absolute bliss."
Foggy was next up to share his thoughts, saying that he hopes...

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! stars Kendra Wilkinson and Vicki Michelle got emotional in tonight's show after receiving letters from home.
The duo had missed out on notes earlier in the show, but Carl Fogarty and Jake Quickenden won the messages in the latest Dingo Dollar challenge.
The 'Spelling Bee' test saw Foggy and Jake dressing up as bees in a slippery area with letters.
They were shown pictures and had to find the letters to correctly spell the words. If they got it right, they could move on, but if they got it wrong they received electric shocks.
Foggy admitted that his costume was "embarrassing", and things were about to get worse as they misspelled the word "koala".

Carl Fogarty has won 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'. The four-time World Superbike champion was named the 2014 King of the Jungle after beating Jake Quickenden in the final of the ITV reality show, with Melanie Sykes in third position. Reflecting on his victory, Carl - the 49-year-old racer, who is affectionately known a 'Foggy' - said: ''I just think it's all a dream. I think someone's playing a joke on me!'' Foggy thanked the public for making him the King of the Jungle, and admitted he's still getting used to his new title. He said: ''It sounds unbelievable. It feels like...

Edwina Currie and Melanie Sykes argued over the role of men after Edwina put Carl Fogarty forward for the latest trial on tonight's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! (December 3).
The campers were told they would have to pick another celebrity in Croc Creek to take part in the Boulder Dash challenge.
Ex-mp Edwina suggested it "sounded physical", at which point Mel volunteered. Kendra Wilkinson also offered to do it, but Vicki Michelle sided with Edwina and thought Jake Quickenden or Foggy would be best.
Mel got cross as she reminded the others: "Hang on, me and Kendra said we wouldn't mind."
"Bearing in mind we want to eat tonight..." responded Edwina.
This prompted an irritated Mel to ask Edwina if she thought she wouldn't be capable of the task, adding: "You should believe in the sisterhood. You're a strong woman."

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Carl Fogarty was forced to dodge boulders in the latest Bushtucker Trial.
Foggy took part in the Boulder Dash, where he had to travel over a river on a high beam to collect stars - all while being pelted by boulders.
Watch a sneak peek at the Trial below:
Foggy quickly settled into a clever routine and shimmied along the beam instead of trying to walk across it.
However, there was still one moment when he dropped rather suddenly onto the beam, causing Ant to wince and say: "That's got to hurt."
The full trial will be shown on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! tonight (December 3) at 8.30pm on ITV.

The camp were informed that they must choose celebrities to undertake the challenge, and after much deliberation, Michael and Vicki volunteered as neither had taken part in a trial.
Carl Fogarty and Jake Quickenden had offered themselves up first, but Foggy later explained: "At the end of the day it's about a team, about feeding the whole team.
"It's not about Michael wanting to do this because he wants to do it for himself. But that's fine. I'm happy with them both going and do it today. But they'd better bring back the bacon."

The I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campsite got very emotional in tonight's episode as the group were given the chance to win letters from home.
Each celebrity was told that they had the opportunity to win a letter for one of their fellow campmates; to do so, they had one minute to memorise six out of eight words on a page before it went into a shredder.
Jake Quickenden won a letter for Mel Sykes, saying: "I was buzzing to win her a letter. I knew how much it would mean to her."
Elsewhere, Edwina Currie and Tinchy Stryder won each other's messages, Vicki Michelle won Michael Buerk's, Carl Fogarty won Jake's and Nadia Forde successfully got Foggy's.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Michael Buerk performed his full rap on tonight's show after intensive training with Tinchy Stryder.
Michael has been working on his masterpiece for some time and chose to unleash the greatness on his fellow campmates as they enjoyed their last supper before one of them is eliminated.
Michael was joined by Tinchy and Jake Quickenden, who sang the chorus: "Ten campmates in a jungle, eating out of tins, no plates in the jungle. Rice and beans, no steaks in the jungle. All real, no fakes in the jungle."
Michael then broke into the verses, rapping: "Michael's my name and I'm real cool, stuck in the jungle feeling a fool. Pants are red, got no bed, jungle skills never learned at school. Banged up here with the Lord of misrule, jumping up and down, heading for a fall. Jimmy's the name, footy's the game.

The Wombat tribe on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! have already had a pretty rough time recently - and things aren't improving any time soon as tonight's episode sees the group taking on the latest Bushtucker Trial.

Watch a teaser of the Trial below:
The Trial saw the celebrities downing various disgusting liquids, and Foggy was the first unlucky celebrity to be chosen.
While Jimmy was supportive - "Foggy, my boy!" - the motorcyclist was nervous, saying: "I'd rather have snakes and bugs anytime, mate."
Discovering that he would have to drink deer's blood, Foggy got stuck in and started downing the substance determinedly, adding rather surprisingly: "It tastes like Quavers.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was forced to cut a challenge short in tonight's episode after a huge storm erupted over camp.
The extreme weather called an end to the Shed of Dread task, which saw Jimmy Bullard and Carl Fogarty being taken in a helicopter to a dark shed full of jungle critters.
The duo were informed that they would have to stay in the shed for 12 hours, but their fellow celebrities were able to cut that time down by sacrificing items that were important to them.
Jake Quickenden gave up his fan, Melanie Sykes handed over her tweezer, Michael Buerk reluctantly sacrificed his chair and Edwina Currie and Vicki Michelle agreed to do without makeup.
That reduced Bullard and Fogarty's time in the shed from 12 to six hours, but the celebrities were then told they could reduce the time to just three hours if they sacrificed postcards from home.

Edwina announced: "We can manage without lipstick for a bit."
Vicki added: "And my pencil."
