Chris Brown has more than 25 years of accumulated experience in the nonprofit sector, much of it focused around managing large-scale trade shows, events and other revenue generating activities. In his current capacity, he is the head of the National Association of Broadcasters' Global Connections and Events (GCE) division, which supports most of the organization's revenue-generating operations and is also directly responsible for producing the organization's major annual conventions: the NAB Show (Las Vegas), Radio Show and Content and Communications World (CCW). The other primary functions of the CBO department are conference/special event support, international operations and business development.
Chris is a past chairman of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR).
Chris holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an Executive Masters of General Administration from the University of Maryland University College.
