Dr. Phil Manning has focussed his life on natural history, but has specialised on telling stories about the evolution of life on Earth. He is Professor of Natural History at the University of Manchester and founding Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Ancient Life. He has presented multiple films, including Jurassic CSI series for National Geographic and has contributed to multiple award winning documentaries for the BBC and CNN.
He has led field expeditions to South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana (USA), but his exploration also includes sites in South America, Arabian Peninsula, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
