Aleksandra Katarzyna "Ola" Wielgomas, known professionally as Luna, is a Polish singer and songwriter. Her artistic journey has been marked by a fusion of pop, alternative pop, and electronic genres. Luna's captivating sound, often described as "cosmic pop," draws inspiration from artists like Nick Cave and Björk. She honed her musical talents at the "Tadeusz Baird" National Music School in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, where she studied violin. Luna also pursued legal and political sciences from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, she collaborated with the Kayax label as part of the "My Name Is New" project. Her debut song, "Na wzgórzach niepokoju", composed by Marcin Nierubiec, was released via Kayax. Luna's talent caught the attention of listeners and was played on Polskie Radio Program III. She continued to make her mark with subsequent singles like "Zastyga" and "Zgas", both well-received and featured on lists of the best Polish songs. Her unique blend of genres and cosmic sensibility sets her apart, and she is was chosen to represent Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with her song "The Tower".
