Jeremy Pollack's formal literary training began at the University of
Southern California, where he studied creative writing under renowned
author T.C. Boyle. While at USC, he simultaneously spent time at
Rolling Stone Magazine as an editorial assistant. Jeremy's first novel
won "Best Novel," Science Fiction at the Hollywood Spiritual
Entertainment Festival in 2004. Since then, his writing as been
published in various magazines, such as L.A.Times Magazine, ISM, Altar,
Boulder Magazine, and others.
Jeremy made his directorial debut with the short-feature Perfect Sec-illusion (2004), which he wrote and which premiered at various festivals. He then spent time in Post-Production at Dreamworks SKG and editing television scripts for the WB, after which he went on to direct his first feature film Chandler Hall (2005), which he co-wrote, winning the Best Feature award at The Other Venice Film Festival and which was originally being represented for sale by The William-Morris Agency.
Jeremy is currently in Post-Production on the feature documentary Paradise Warrior, about Mixed Martial Arts, starring many of the most famous martial artists in the world.
