Arnaud de Borchgrave was born on October 26, 1926 in Brussels, Belgium. He was married to Alexandra Villard, Eileen Ritschel and Dorothy F. Solon. He died on February 15, 2015 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA.
His father was chef of intelligence for the Free Belgian government during WWII, his maternal grandfather was a British general.
He worked for "Newsweek" from 1949 as a journalist, war correspondent and became editor of the "Washington Times" in 1985. He became an American citizen in 1957.
