In 1991 she arranged the harmonies for Gloria Estefan's #1 hit "Coming Out of the Dark".
Mentored Danity Kane at the request of Sean "Puffy" Combs.
In 2009 she co-produced Diane Birch's debut album.
Co-produced two tracks on Tom Jones's 2008 album 24 Hours.
In 1979 she opened for Bob Marley on his Survival Tour.
In 1967, as a teenager, she talent scouted George and Gwen McCrae for Alston Records.
She co-produced Joss Stone's The Soul Sessions (2003) which was shortlisted for England's Mercury Prize.
In 1977 she discovered musician Peter Brown and sang background on Brown's hits, "You Should Do It" and "Dance With Me" .
Her music was sampled by Mary J. Blige, Afrika Bambaataa, Chance the Rapper, Beyonce, Color Me Badd and Sublime.
Mother of Namphuyo McCray, and Patrice Parker.
