Harry Clark — breakout star, winner and the most “hella elusive” game player in the history of The Traitors UK — has signed with InterTalent.
Announcing the signing on LinkedIn today, InterTalent Managing Director Alex Segal wrote: “There’s a traitor amongst us! I am thrilled to announce that Harry Clark, the stand-out star of The Traitors Season 2, has joined InterTalent.”
Clark won the BBC mystery entertainment series by outsmarting his fellow players with an increasingly daring yet brazen attitude that had the nation hooked. He was designated a ‘traitor’ from the beginning of the show and outlasted all the other competitors through a mix of trickery, misdirection and charm. In the final episode of the second season, his run-off with fellow finalist and best friend Mollie Pearce led to one of the most dramatic moments on British reality TV in recent years. TV host Josh Gates of Expedition Unknown had a chance to take a trip on the doomed Titan submersible but declined the opportunity because of fears the vessel was unsafe, he revealed on Twitter.
The Discovery Channel personality considered visiting the wreckage of the Titanic on the OceanGate Expeditions submersible. But a troubling dive with CEO Stockton Rush led Gates to cancel plans to film the most famous shipwreck site in history.
“I had the unique opportunity to dive in the @Oceangate #Titan sub with Stockton at the helm in preparation for its maiden mission to Titanic,” Gates tweeted on June 21.
Gates added that he was “pray[ing] for a positive outcome to the rescue efforts of those aboard,” which was still missing at the time. One day later, the U.S. Coast Guard confirmed that the Titan has experienced a “catastrophic implosion” that killed all five people aboard. In addition to Rush,...

A British TV presenter has revealed that, like Discovery+ explorer Josh Gates, he considered making a show in which he travelled to the wreck of the Titanic in an OceanGate sub – before rejecting the plan as “unsafe.”
The Sun reports that Ross Kemp – a veteran of daredevil documentary-making over the last two decades – had planned to make the show last summer, before pulling out.
His agent Jonathan Shalit told the paper:
“Their team checked out this OceanGate submersible and pulled out of using it, as it was simply not considered safe or fit for purpose.”
The Sun quoted a TV insider who added: “When provisional enquiries were made with OceanGate, the question was asked: ‘How much training does he need to go down in the submersible to the Titanic?’ And the answer was: ‘None at all.’
“The company was looked at initially because they were a well-known organisation, but after [production company] Atlantic started asking questions,...

In upcoming biopic “Golda,” Helen Mirren plays former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir during the 1973 Yom Kippur war, when Israel was invaded by a coalition of Arab states on the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
While Mirren is not Jewish, “Golda” is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guy Nattiv (“Skin”), who is both Jewish and Israeli, and written by British screenwriter Nicholas Martin (“Florence Foster Jenkins”), who has previously worked with the organization U.K. Jewish Film.
But in the U.K., where production wrapped last month, Mirren’s casting as one of history’s most heroic Jewish women has caused some disquiet. Actor Maureen Lipman (“The Pianist”) highlighted the discussion about what has been termed “Jewface” when she told a newspaper she “disagreed” with Mirren’s casting “because the Jewishness of the character is so integral. After performing live in Soho they were immediately approached by Island Records' producer Chris Rock, who introduced them to Jonathan Shalit, who signed them to Sony after hearing a demo CD (one they had recorded with their new Californian accents). The financial deal they were offered was modest, but it allowed them to forget about previous money worries and move out from Gavin's sister's tiny London flat and into a house, where they could concentrate on making new material. Fast-forward several months and Billy and Gavin - or 'Silibil and Brains' - are working on their first album, about to release a single and are appearing on the British version of Trl. The only problem of course, was that they were having to do all of this while pretending to be Californian, and the stress of maintaining this lie was beginning to have a profound effect, both in their personal...

Back in 2002, aspiring musicians Gavin Bain and Billy Boyd were laughed out of an open audition in London, where Warner representatives were looking for the next Eminem. Their rejection had nothing to do with a perceived lack of talent, however, the friends had drawn crowds back on home turf, but because they were from Scotland and dared to rap in a Scottish accent.
The friends understandably wanted revenge, and rather than giving up concocted a plan that would allow them to do so while also exposing the prejudices of a biased music industry. Inventing Californian personae and perfecting American accents, Gavin and Billy became Silibil ‘n’ Brains and returned to London where they almost immediately attracted interest. Dubbed the next big thing, they were signed by Sony UK and welcomed into the industry with open arms.

Britain's Got Talent winner Pudsey the dog was reportedly replaced by stand-in dogs for a TV show last year.
David Walliams's Christmas BBC One show Mr Stink hired Pudsey to play Hugh Bonneville's sidekick Duchess.
However, two of Pudsey's puppies Crumpet and Dillon were apparently used on screen when Pudsey was too tired, reports The Sun.
Pudsey won Britain's Got Talent in 2012 for his dancing tricks alongside owner and trainer Ashleigh Butler.
Handlers are said to have applied make-up to Crumpet and Dillon, while their coats were altered to make them look like Pudsey.
Pudsey's agent Jonathan Shalit said: "Yes, there is a spare Pudsey because if you do a film it's expensive, and if Pudsey gets ill or goes above and beyond the number of hours, you need to have a spare Pudsey so he isn't abused.
"There aren't any rules - but it's about caring and not abusing animals.
