Born on an U.S. Air Force base in Bitburg, Germany. She has a M.A. in
anthropology from Temple University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), and an Ed.D. from Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, CA).
Works as an anthropologist and educator. She develops training curricula, programs and media on the subject of the visual aspects of culture and language. She also conducts teacher-training seminars nationally.
Michelle Flowers Taylor was awarded the Orijin Magazine's Humanitarian Award in April 2011.
Michelle Flowers Taylor has starred in several national and international commercial campaigns, including: General Electric, Exxon/Mobile, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Budweiser, Canon Cameras, ProActiv, United Nations, etc.
In 2012, she started pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice.
Co-producer of the theatrical event called Black Women: State of the Union. BWSOTU honors and celebrates Black women, and seeks to offer solutions for challenging social issues that impact this community.
Confirmed completion of a doctoral degree in May 2015 from Loyola Marymount University.
