I mostly write without music so that I can hear myself think and talk.
The complexities of female characters are much more fascinating to
explore.
When I take on a project as a producer the most important element to me
is the story, not the actors, not the director. I will not ask someone
to invest money into a project that I feel has a poor script,
regardless of who is attached.
I admire Joe Eszterhas and David Mamet a great deal, and William
Goldman. As for novelists I like Dean Koontz and John Grisham, and
again William Goldman.
Anyone can make a movie for ten million dollars, but can that movie
make twenty million dollars.
