If you’re a big fan of Pete Ross, you’re in luck. The new image from the set of Superman: Man Of Steel, from Superman Homepage, shows a young Clark Kent, Pete Ross and Whitney Fordman (in opposite order; Dylan Sprayberry is Clark on the right, Jack Foley is Pete Ross and Robert Gerdisch is Whitney Fordman). Apparently we get to see the origin story, Smallville, all that jazz, Again. Hopefully not too in depth, Zack Snyder. We had umpteen seasons of Smallville and several other Superman movies for that.
Zack Snyder’s film stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Christopher Meloni and Laurence Fishburne.

Nothing major here really, but as anticipation builds for that first teaser trailer - and indeed any new official releases from the movie - a previously unseen set pic will have to keep us going for now. From left to right - Robert Gerdisch (Whitney Fordham), Jack Foley (Pete Ross), and Dylan Sprayberry (Clark Kent). Thanks to Superman Homepage for the pic. In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability,...

Our friends over at Superman: Man of Steel (2013) have come across some information from Robert Gerdisch's IMDb page. The actor is listed as playing Whitney Fordham, and a photo of the actor posing with director, Zack Snyder. Just being listed on IMDb isn't enough, but the photo pretty much puts it to bed. So who is Whitney Fordham? At first if you're a fan of Smallville you might think this could be Whitney, but that character's last name was Fordman. But, that doesn't mean it can't be the same character. Perhaps on IMDb that is a typo, or Zack Snyder wanted to change the last name to differentiate from the Smallville version of Whitney. That Whitney is the star athlete and a rival to Clark for Lana's affection. So, we could be looking at the thorn in Clark's side. Man Of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner,...

Chicago – Frank Vincent brings gravity to the somewhat generic tale of “Chicago Overcoat,” a local production about an aging hitman trying to do one last job before trying to retire from a profession that doesn’t come with pension plans. After traveling the festival circuit for sometime, the hitman drama is now available on DVD.
DVD Rating: 3.5/5.0
Vincent, most well-known to modern audiences for his work on “The Sopranos” and in “GoodFellas”, brings a softer side to his starring role as Lou Marazano, a guy who honestly just wants to disappear after doing one final assignment. He’s the best thing about “Chicago Overcoat,” giving a delicate, quiet performance where many actors would have just chewed the scenery. As the bluesy soundtrack croons “I can’t do the things I used to do,” Vincent perfectly captures a man who knows his prime is behind him.
