Well this is something I never thought I’d be writing about. Yes, legendary Italian horror director Ruggero Deodato is heading back to his infamous house of horror with House of the Edge of the Park Part II, his sequel to the 1980 original – with Giovanni Lombardo Radice set to reprise his role as ‘Ricky’ – and we have the first poster for the film!
After thirty years at the mercy of a brutal warden in Sing Sing prison, Ricky is released and returns to the old garage in New York City. Desperate for a place to belong, he falls in with a dangerous sociopath named The Poet and his bloodthirsty girlfriend, Muriel. But the memories of Ricky’s old friend Alex continue to haunt him.

Production company North Bank Entertainment has begun filming a sequel to the 1980 horror film The House on the Edge of the Park. Thirty years have passed since the distribution of the original and this second film involves similar characters from the previous release, with Ricky released from behind bars. He quickly reacquaints himself with a life of crime, as The Poet and Muriel talk tales of murder.
This sequel will be directed by the infamous septuagenarian director Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust), with shooting taking place within Italy. Have an early look at this disturbing piece (new poster and synopsis) and prepare to be horrified or traumatized by The House on the Edge of the Park II in 2012!
