Vanessa Amorosi has been taken to hospital after falling off a horse. The 30-year-old Australian singer and experienced equestrian, who is best known for songs such as 'Mr Mysterious' and 'Xx', was riding with friends at her Victoria property when the accident occurred. According to the Herald Sun, Amarosi's companions took her to hospital and she discharged herself 12 hours later. However, she began to feel unwell the next day and returned to the medical centre, where she was kept in for suspected internal injuries. Anthony Callea has revealed that he would "love" to be a judge on the Australian version of The Voice. The 28-year-old former Australian Idol contestant, who is best known for songs such as 'The Prayer' and 'Rain', is rumoured to be in the running as a mentor on the Nine Network reality singing show when it premieres this year. After being spotted on the Sweet Cruise by the National Enquirer (aka a lesbian who wanted to make some quick cash by taking some photos of her onboard), the former Family Ties star was quick to say she went on the cruise "for fun." A music video aimed to support Hoobastank's single "The Letter" has made its round. Directed by Paul Brown and filmed at Lacy Street Studio in Los Angeles, the video shows the band performing the song in a bedroom with bits of paper scattered all over the floor.
"The Letter" is the third single off Hoobastank's latest installment "For(N)Ever", which has been outed since January. The track features Australian singer Vanessa Amorosi.
In regard of making a duet with Vanessa, the band's lead singer Doug Robb said in an interview that they are thrilled of having her as a featured guest. "She brought a haunting yet powerful quality to the song that we think sounds great," he stated.
