Hailey Bieber has had enough of the “made-up” feud with Selena Gomez.
Hailey, the wife of Justin Bieber, recently appeared on Bloomberg’s ‘The Circuit’ and addressed what’s been going on with Selena, after being asked by host Emily Chang.
Though Chang didn’t use Selena’s name directly, clips of news stories mentioning the two women appeared on screen, reports People magazine.
“I don’t think that this is about me, and Selena Gomez,” Hailey, 26, said.
“This is not about this pitting between two women – it’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous.”
“And I think that it’s an opportunity to really stand for bringing people together and not being okay with the kind of division that it caused, because I’m not okay with (it). I don’t like this whole...

In his first public remarks about Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, the social media platform’s co-founder Evan Williams said he was initially excited about the prospect.
As he told host Emily Chang in the first episode of her Bloomberg series “The Circuit,” in a clip released ahead of the show’s premiere Thursday night, “I was like, Elon? Holy moly, he does crazy things. This will be interesting and fun. We’ll see what happens.”
Williams later admitted he can’t fully endorse Musk’s changes to Twitter, which have resulted in the mass exit of advertisers and users and a disturbing rise in hate speech. “I don’t think he’s dialed it in quite right, yet,” Williams told Chang.
What do Twitter's founders think of how Elon Musk has been running the platform?
Here's what @ev and @goldman told @emilychangTV.

Emily Chang may be able to do for technology what Anthony Bourdain did for cuisine.
The longtime Bloomberg TV correspondent is leaving her assignment as the anchor of the daily Bloomberg show “Bloomberg Technology” after 12 years in order to devote her attention to developing a suite of programs that explore the intersection of technology, business and culture.
“Studio 1.0,” a show Chang has led that features in-depth interviews, will run as a weekly program in which the anchor uses sit-down conversations and field segments to explore issues tied to technology and to meet CEOs, entrepreneurs and influencers. She might explore topics such as the hype around cryptocurrency, for example, or the impact of Tik Tok on popular culture.
Chang will also develop new limited series that dig deeper on specific topics.

We’re all good people, but we’re full of shit. Or, as the characters in King Knight say, we all have “poo in our butts”. We’re all imperfect human beings, some more malicious than others, and it’s the outsider who receives the brunt of that malice. Writer-director Richard Bates Jr. looks at the outsider with a dark sense of humor and with a farcical approach, creating one of the best comedies of the year. While looking at religion, conservatives, and society in general, King Knight aims to present Wicca in a positive light. It succeeds, leading to a journey of acceptance and rebirth.

“The Twilight Zone” is a beast to write about. On the one hand, the original series is so ingrained in shaping popular culture that to ignore it is all but impossible; if “The Simpsons” didn’t do it first, “The Twilight Zone” almost certainly did. On the other hand, the goal of a reboot is to simultaneously entice fans who didn’t watch the original as well as honor what came before. How do you bridge the two spectrums with a show so iconic as to be all but crystallized in time?
The first season of the Jordan Peele-produced remake had its bright spots, but it also suffered from coming after “Black Mirror,” which, as a “Twilight Zone” acolyte, had already said so much about relationships and technology. Many of the same problems that plagued Season 1 of “The Twilight Zone” reboot remain in Season 2, despite one episode that blows them all away.

“If the ad revenue currently spent on radio instead flowed to online platforms, it would double the current size of the music business.”
Spotify founder and CEO Daniel Ek is making that argument in the wake of his company’s Q1 earnings announcement. According to Ek, the record industry should stop obsessing over paid streaming subscriptions and instead pay more mind to the opportunity presented if a billion people, currently listening to linear radio worldwide, started listening to Spotify instead.
Cards on the table: Daniel Ek didn’t actually say the words above.

After nine movies you can imagine that Star Wars is going to need to take some time to sit back and recharge before going in for another round. So even with the rumors of Riann Johnson trying to come up with his own trilogy (shudder) it would seem that there are no concrete plans for another movie to come anytime soon after The Rise of Skywalker is over and done with. That might not sit well with fans as Christopher Palmeri and Emily Chang of Bloomberg might think, but it could actually be a time to regroup and for Disney

Other Angle has picked up international sales rights to “Babysplitters,” a U.S. comedy directed by Sam Friedlander (“Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant”) as part of the French company’s move into English-language movies.
“Babysplitters” is a high-concept comedy about two couples who have mixed feelings about having kids and hatch a plan to share one baby. While it initially seems like the perfect compromise, things spiral out of control.
The movie, which stars Danny Pudi, Emily Chang, Maiara Walsh and Eddie Alfano, has already screened at North American festivals, including Santa Barbara and San Diego, where it won awards. It also played at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
Variety‘s review of “Babysplitters” said “The trials and travails of impending parenthood are captured through Friedlander’s highly comedic filter, giving birth to enough dazzling wit to sustain the gimmick.”
Friedlander said the film was inspired by his own doubts and fears about parenthood.

Good friends often split restaurant checks, but can they split child-raising duties? That’s the catchy premise of writer-director Sam Friedlander’s outrageous comedy “Babysplitters,” which earned the Panavision Spirit Award for Independent Cinema at the Santa Barbara film fest. Combining the DNA of “She’s Having a Baby” and “Indecent Proposal,” Friedlander’s audacious hook is sure to spur thought-provoking discussions about its progressive parenting ideas. The trials and travails of impending parenthood are captured through Friedlander’s highly comedic filter, giving birth to enough dazzling wit to sustain the gimmick.

"I want to see the future..." "What's in the future...?" Another compelling short film to watch, with a bit of a sci-fi twist. Instant is a short film directed by Alex Albrecht, produced by Roddenberry Entertainment, lead by Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry, who is the son of legendary Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and Majel Barrett. After a desperate criminal takes a bar hostage, six people must face their demons - past and present - in order to survive. But one of them is keeping a big secret that could change everything in an instant. The film stars Tyler Hilton, Manu Intiraymi, Phil Morris, Emily Chang, Tony Janning, and Tara Perry. This short has a few strong performances, working with an intriguing script that explores some engaging ideas. I wish this was a bit shorter, might be more effective, but it's still a good short. Enjoy. Thanks to SyFy Wire for the tip on this.

“You’re asking a really important question.” “It’s such a good question.” “Those are fair questions, and I think those are real questions.”
When Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg talks to journalists these days, she frequently praises their questions — and then proceeds not to answer them, instead talking about something else. Anyone who has ever undergone media training knows this as a redirection, a changing of the subject in order to evade those “really important” questions.
Sandberg has obviously undergone plenty of media training, as any executive in her position would have. But she’s also spent the past 10-plus years at Facebook, a company that has tried to control its messaging like few others — and that has been completely caught off-guard ever since the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal broke last month, incapable of dealing with a situation where the company is not in control.

EA has noted that they may end yearly sports titles in favor of a “subscription like service” that will replace them. This is both an intriguing idea, and yet a fearful idea. Find out after the jump.

EA Chief Andrew Wilson mentioned in an interview that the publisher could drop yearly sports titles in favor of “365 day subscriptions.” While no pricing or structure was mentioned, Wilson explained that the shift from disc to more digital outlets was a reasoning for the change. This would allow EA to treat games as a service, adding details or minor updates throughout the year instead of requiring a whole new game for minor updates.

The Vampire Diaries has offered up a steady stream of casting news this week, and they’re not done yet. Earlier today, the CW announced that former star of The Carrie Diaries, Chris Wood, has been cast in a recurring role for the upcoming season.
According to TV Guide, Wood will be playing a character name Kai, who is a charmingly unstable newcomer with the unsettling ability to seem normal as the situation demands. He can be both playful and obsessive with a mix of adolescent angst. Considering this is a show where vampires pretend to be normal humans on a daily basis, it seems like he’s going to do just fine. In fact, he may be the perfect candidate to join the supernatural club.
This comes on the heels of news that four other characters have been added for season six. Eureka’s Craig Ferguson will be playing...
