Fox News apparently thinks “Ed” stands for early death.
Anyone who watches late night TV knows that 55-year-old Frank Thomas is alive and thriving. The former White Sox slugger and three-time MLB All-Star is nearly ubiquitous in male supplement commercials.
But during a segment on Fox’s The Faulkner Focus, Thomas was shown with his year of birth and alleged year of death as 2023. However, it was another Frank Thomas who died. The actual deceased Thomas was born in 1929 and died Jan. 16, 2023. The deceased Thomas was a three-time all-star for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
To its credit, the network quickly corrected the gaffe. “We also need to quickly issue a correction in the ‘in memoriam’ feature that we showed just a few minutes ago,” guest anchor Julie Banderas said. “We misidentified the late Frank Thomas, the three-time all-star for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Frank Thomas we showed you, unfortunately, was also a former pro baseball player.

Heeeeere’s Jack! A video of Jack Nicholson that popped up this past week shows him moving slowly and staring into the sky, prompting some to question the legendary actor’s condition. Enter Nicholson supporters (Jack-olytes?), who have leapt to the Oscar winner’s defense with the full force of an ax through a door.
I see where some tabloid published photos of Jack Nicholson looking 'disheveled.' It's almost as if the man is, you, know Eighty-five Years Old. He gave us iconic performances for 40 years. He's retired. Leave him the f*** alone.

Hey, internet….Back-off. Jack Nicholson hasn’t been seen in 18 months, and we should all know Exactly how that looks and feels. Remember the pandemic?? Leave this man alone!!

Actor Kirk Cameron went on Fox News Channel on Friday to discuss his fight against libraries who have been turning down story-hour book-reading pitches from the publisher of Cameron’s new children’s book As You Grow.
The sit-down came after a reading Thursday a the Indianapolis Public Library drew a sizable crowd — though the library disputes the attendance figures given by publisher Brave Books and repeated by Cameron on air.

The hosts of Fox News’ Outnumbered had a full blown hissy fit over a report that petting cats helps college students relax, with one host saying that the students need a “slap in the face” and another calling them “snowflakes.”
Study shows petting cats could be beneficial for alleviating stress in college students.
Fox News' reaction?
They are all "snowflakes" who need a "slap in the face" because this is "part of the indoctrination" and the "kids are the problem." pic.twitter.com/5QackwGxdt

Journalism is not as easy a profession as it may seem to be. It involves a lot of research, talent, hard work and brazenness to remain in the industry as long as some of the reporters have. Over the years Fox News has had a number of talented journalists grace the screens just to mention a few; Megyn Kelly, Scott Pelley, and Julie Banderas. Journalism is a calling and these reporters sure heed it. In particular, Julie Banderas is one who is not afraid to call out anyone on their behavior. Not even the president is spared from her tough

President Donald Trump’s relationship with Fox News Channel sometimes has veered from ally to frenemy in recent months, and today one of its on-air personalitites called Potus out for his latest snipe at the network.
Trump tweeted this morning that “Fox news is at it again” in response to its report on a new poll that shows him trailing some Democratic challengers, by a lot. In response, host and correspondent Julie Banderas — who has crossed swords with the commander in chief before — tweeted “That is incorrect” and did her level best to explain the concept of polling to him. Here is the exchange (Trump’s tweet is a two-parter):
….the fact that I have gone through a three year vicious Witch Hunt, perpetrated by the Lamestream Media in Collusion with Crooked and the Democrat Party, there can be No Way, with the greatest Economy in U.S. history,...

A day after President Donald Trump reminded Americans about how the Continental Army “took over the airports” in 1775, Fox News viewers offered more alternative facts today. During the Fifth of July broadcast of Outnumbered, co-anchor Julie Banderas pointed out that it’s “a crime to burn the American flag.”
Just one little problem: It’s not.
The panel failed its civics lesson during a segment about the controversy over Nike canceling the sale of sneakers adorned with the “Betsy Ross flag.” Banderas was reacting to guest panelist Carley Shimkus, who said: “The American flag — it’s very important to honor it. There was a video of somebody who stopped burning of the protest yesterday with his hands. It means a lot to a lot of people.” At that point, Banderas added, “Two people were arrested after that.”
That is true, but the scorching of Old Glory wasn’t the reason...

President Donald Trump laid down some friendly fire Sunday night when he called out a pair of Fox News personalities on Twitter. A Fox colleague hit back today on the same social media platform.
Former Fox Report Weekend regular and current fill-in anchor Julie Banderas decided to punch back after the jabster-in-chief referred to Fnc’s John Roberts and Gillian Turner as “having even less understanding of the Wall negotiations that the folks at Fake News CNN&NBC!” Oh, the shame.
Anyway, here’s how Banderas chose to respond to Potus’ broadside at her Fnc colleagues:
By going on Twitter and insulting two of our journalists @realDonaldTrump is putting a target on their backs. In turn his followers will then attack @johnrobertsFox and @GillianHTurner in support on Twitter. Bullying journalists is not Presidential. Period. https://t.co/xayShIojYj

Tuesday is bringing us the midterm elections, the biggest election day in American politics since the presidential race in 2016. There will be no shortage of options to watch coverage and analysis of the results as they pour in, but if Fox News is your cup of tea, you’ll be happy to know the network has made it easier than ever to watch its results coverage.
That’s because Fox News’ election coverage, which has almost always been locked behind a TV subscription, will be available for free for anyone to watch on YouTube. Fox News will have its YouTube live stream go on the air starting at 6 p.m. Et/3 p.m. Pt, which is when the network will begin its results coverage in earnest.
