Terry Bisson was born on February 12, 1942 in Madisonville, Kentucky, USA. He was a writer and actor, known for The Singing Biologist (2004), Robeson and Meat (2017). He was married to Judy Jensen, Deirdre Holst and Mary Corey. He died on January 10, 2024 in California, USA.
Operated Jacobin Books, a "revolutionary" mail-order book service, from 1985 to 1990, in partnership with Judy Jensen.
In the 1960s he collaborated on several comic book stories with Clark Dimond, and he edited Major Publications' black-and-white horror-comics magazine Web of Horror, leaving before the fourth issue.
Produced numerous film and TV novelizations and media tie-ins.
Wrote non-fiction titles, notably On A Move: The Story of Mumia Abu-Jamal (2001).
