The hunt for the legendary Bigfoot continues to inspire filmmakers and storytellers and we’ve got a trailer for a new film for you to check out today called Hoax.
The film follows a team who travels “deep into the wilderness after a group of young campers are viciously murdered and linked to Bigfoot. The highly specialized crew search for evidence and fight to survive the powerful beast. If they work together they may live to prove the existence of bigfoot, but what they discover may be more unexpected and dangerous than anything they could have imagined.”
Bigfoot is out for blood, though, and primed to kill anyone who comes after him. The horror film actually looks like it could be pretty brutal. This could end up being a surprisingly good film!
The cast includes Adrienne Barbeau, Brian Thompson, Ben Browder, Cheryl Texiera, Shoshana Bush, Hutch Dano, Matt Reidy, Anthony Ray Parker,...

"There's something moving, I don't know what it is!" Epic Pictures has unveiled an official trailer for the "this summer's biggest horror film" titled Hoax, another new bigfoot horror movie that looks quite gnarly. The film is about an investigative team that travels deep into the wilderness after a group of young campers are viciously murdered and linked to Bigfoot. If they work together they may live to prove the existence of Bigfoot, but what they discover may be more unexpected & dangerous than anything they could've imagined. Scary. The main ensemble cast includes Adrienne Barbeau, Brian Thompson, Ben Browder, Cheryl Texiera, Shoshana Bush, Hutch Dano, Matt Reidy, Anthony Ray Parker, Christopher Soren Kelly, Ryan Lee, Max Decker, Brian Landis Folkins, Karen Slack, & Shawn Rickel. This actually looks surprisingly quite epic, like they're trying to pull off making Predator for Bigfoot on an indie budget. Don’t read this Kristen Stewart! The romance between Rob Pattinson and blond model, Dylan Penn is so hot that he’s even flown back and forth from Canadian sets to see her.
Robert Pattinson is giving a real relationship with Dylan Penn ”a go,” a source close to the actor told Us Weekly.
Robert Pattinson: Why It Works With Dylan Penn
Unlike previous flings he’s had since he broke up with Kristen Stewart in May, he’s actually been seeing Dylan on the down low for a couple months.
“He’s so happy now. They’re very comfortable together,” the source said.
So, why is his relationship with the 22-year-old daughter of actors Robin Wright and Sean Penn working?
One of the reasons he feels so comfortable with Dylan, the insider says, is because she sees the 27-year-old actor as a person — not as the Twilight star or Kristen’s ex.

MTV has assembled the cast of Hot Mess, a new pilot from Awkward creator/executive producer Lauren Iungerich. Annabelle Stephenson, Matthew Atkinson, Mathew Botuchis and Shoshana Bush are set for the pilot, which Iungerich wrote and will direct. Hot Mess centers on Amanda Marshall (Stephenson), who is caught between her current and former boyfriend, and her close circle of friends from college. Atkinson plays Nick, a member of Amanda’s crew, with Botuchis as his partner in crime Todd. Bush is Vivi, Amanda’s closest girlfriend. Iungerich executive produces with Robyn Meisinger and Kim Fleary. MTV quietly greenlit Hot Mess in September, well before this week’s executive shakeup at the network, with Susanne Daniels replacing head of programming David Janollari and co-head of scripted Clay Spencer exiting. Hot Mess has been shepherded by MTV’s other co-head of scripted Justin Levy, who is staying put and who also championed Iungerich’s breakout Awkward,...

Fox's action comedy "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" fought to the top of a competitive heap during the long Memorial Day weekend, opening with a rousing $70 million in estimated domestic boxoffice.
Warner Bros.' sci-fi actioner "Terminator Salvation" -- the fourth "Terminator" pic and the first in six years -- performed ably, if unspectacularly, with $53.8 million in second place on the four-day frame and a $67.2 cume since bowing Thursday. Paramount's comedy spoof "Dance Flick" from the Wayans brothers debuted about as expected with $13.1 million, good for fifth place on the holiday-stretched session.
Sony's Tom Hanks starrer "Angels & Demons" fell 53% from its opening grosses in its latest Friday-Sunday outing, and through Monday rang up $27.7 million in fourth place. The book-based thriller boasts an 11-day cume of $87.8 million, while its over-performance abroad has Sony projecting the pic to hit $300 million worldwide tally by Wednesday.

There used to be a time when you’d see the Wayans Bros. (or the other WB, as I call them) name’s come up and it inspired joy. They had arguably the best sketch comedy show with “In Living Color” giving us characters like Fire Marshall Bill, Blaine Edwards and Antione Merriweather, and best of all, Homey D. Clown. Everything seemed to go downhill the moment they unleashed Scary Movie into the masses and they’ve yet to recover by doing such unfunny schlock like Little Man, White Chicks, and a second Scary Movie. To add more fuel to the fire, the popularity of Scary Movie would lead to an influx of cheap and stupid spoof flicks that only Satan himself could unleash on the masses. I dare not mention them by name to protect innocent lives, but these films have caused people to walk out having AIDS and...

Dance Flick
Directed by: Damien Wayans
Cast: Damon Wayans Jr., Shoshana Bush
Running Time: 1 hr. 15 mins
Rating: PG 13
Plot: Visualize a room filled with coherent, albeit, formulaic plots. Now picture a demolition crew blowing up that room with zestful overkill. Pick through the remaining detritus, piece together random flotsam, and voila! There’s your plot.
Who’s It For? Starfish. They’re slow, brainless, and they have a lot of free time.
Expectations: I was pretty sure I’d hang myself within the first ten minutes. Unfortunately, the theater staff took my noose away from me, because it ended up being much closer to five.
Scorecard (0-10)
Actors:
Damon Wayans Jr. as Thomas: Wayans Jr. has a fun presence. Put him in something well written and funny and he could probably do a good job. Here, he’s one of the only remotely enjoyable parts of a big, rotten sh*t hoagie.

The Wayans brothers are back on the big screen, and this time, they are spoofing dance flicks including "Step Up" and "Save the Last Dance." Damien Wayans' "Dance Flick" stars Shoshana Bush, Damon Wayans Jr., Essence Atkins and Amy Sedaris, and here is what some of the Web's critics think about the film:
• Ron Henriques at LatinoReview: "It came as a shock to me that most of the brothers worked on the script since the material feels so dry."
• CinemaBlend's Katey Rich: "Maybe the problem isn't that the Wayans have lost their touch for absurdity, but that the spoof genre got away from them, morphing into something not even they could steer."
• Cole Abaius at FilmSchoolRejects: "It’s just sad to see that comedians that were once at the forefront of the game have failed to keep up with the envelope after pushing it."
• Brian Orndorf at BrianOrndorf.com: "At its worst,...

The good thing about the new Wayans family spoof, Dance Flick, is you'll know within 60 seconds whether or not it's for you. A dance battle begins the movie, with two teams of dancers throwing out their best moves in an effort to outduel each other.
Roughly half a minute into the film, a dancer slides across the floor, leg hiked in the air, and urinates on a competitor. Some fifteen seconds later, another dancer contorts his body and accidentally shoves his head up his own ass.
You either think that's funny or you don't. If you think it's funny, then your ship has come in. And you're way too easily enteratined. However, if it's not up your alley, the rest of the 80-something minutes here won't offer you much of a respite.
Starring Shoshana Bush, Damon Wayans, Jr., Essence Atkins, and Amy Sedaris

Parodying Twilight seems to be the hot thing to do these days. Hot on the heels of Cam Gigandet's spoof of the vampire flick on Funny or Die comes news that the latest Wayans Brothers masterpiece Dance Flick—out in theaters on Friday—pokes fun at Twilight's prom scene. Radar Online reports that the movie's final scene features a prom sequence that's eerily similar to a certain ceremony at Forks High School, right down to the outdoor gazebo dancing. His face caked in goopy makeup and his hair appropriately mussed, Damon Wayans Jr. takes on the role of faux Robert Pattinson, while Shoshana Bush.

I don’t need to tell you how large and confusing the Wayans family is. Why? Because they do a far better job of explaining it themselves. From the recent press junket for “Dance Flick,” which hits theaters tomorrow:
Shoshana Bush: [referring to the Wayans family] I had to get who was who down. That was step number one.
Damon Jr: I don’t even have that down! Do you know how long I thought my dad was uncle Keenen?
Click it right on that image for a better look at — and a better understanding of — the Family Wayans.

It's Ben Stiller against the cyborgs at the multiplex this weekend.
The comic actor's sequel, Fox's "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," has at least a chance of edging out the first new "Terminator" movie in almost six years for the No. 1 boxoffice ranking during the long Memorial Day weekend. That's largely because Warner Bros. will open "Terminator Salvation" Thursday with thousands of 12:01 a.m. performances, but weekend rankings will be based only on what the Christian Bale starrer grosses between Friday and Monday.
Bale plays the franchise's recurring John Connor character, a cyborg-battling defender of mankind portrayed by Nick Stahl in 2003's "Terminator: Rise of the Machines." Bale's casting has drawn keen attention as it is his first big-screen appearance since last summer's Batman blockbuster "The Dark Knight."

If movies have taught us anything, it’s that competitive dancing is hard. That’s exactly the lesson Megan (Shoshana Bush) learns in this clip from “Dance Flick.” It’s a good thing that Thomas (Damon Wayans Jr.) is there to guide her in the right direction. Even if Megan’s team ends up losing the competition, at least she gets to go home with the wad of cash thrown at her feet.

Counting down to its theatrical debut, "Dance Flick" has got five new clips available for viewing pleasure. Varied in running time, the snippets help to give more idea on how tickling the movie will be. In the clip titled "No I in Team", for example, Thomas who is played by Damon Wayans Jr. explains that there is no "I" in team which leads to a ridiculous argument.
"Dance Flick" spoofs many dance movies from classic "Flashdance" to recent hits "Step Up" and "You Got Served". The story itself centers on a beautiful young woman, Megan White, and a young street dancer, Thomas Uncles. After her mother dies, White finds herself on a series of misadventures when she moves to the mean streets of the inner-city, where she meets Uncles who shares similar interest with her, dancing.
This parody movie directed by Damien Wayans was originally set for February 6 release in theaters across the U.

I am still hoping to get together a Summer Preview of my own similar to last year's, but just haven't had a chance to get it sorted out, but for the time being it looks like the studios are ahead of me as today I received some new images from five of Paramount's six upcoming summer releases, which includes three new looks at the May 8 release of Star Trek. Each movie is featured below with a teaser image and the synopsis. By clicking on the "Browse the Gallery" links it will open a new window, which you can close to return to this article and continue the preview. Overall there are nine new images, but for the most part the galleries on a few of these were already quite large. Enjoy! An outrageous international trailer of "Dance Flick" has arrived. Bringing in new footage from the new comedy movie from the Wayans' brothers, the video footage starts off with a dance battle, which ends with Essence Atkins' Charity giving birth to her talented baby on the dance floor. The new trailer also previews very pregnant impersonation of Juno, making a cameo on the movie.
Spoofing many dance movies from classic "Flashdance" to recent hits "Step Up" and "You Got Served", "Dance Flick" revolves around a beautiful young woman, Megan White, and a young street dancer, Thomas Uncles. After her mother dies, White finds herself on a series of misadventures when she moves to the mean streets of the inner-city, where she meets Uncles who share similar interest with her, dancing.
Originally set for February 6 release, this parody movie directed by Damien Wayans won't see the big screen in the U.

Paramount Pictures has just unveiled their 2009 preview and in rather lackluster form I may say as new images from anticipated features such as Martin Scorese's Shutter Island, Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones and Star Trek were nowhere to be found. Fanboy favorites such as G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen also saw zilch in the updated imagery department. We do, however, have new pics from Eddie Murphy's next kid flick, the previously titled Nowhereland, now labeled as Imagine That and to be honest that is about as exciting as it gets in the updates department. All the cast, director and synopsis information is listed over the course of the next few pages as well as all the release dates for 15 new features. Surprisingly enough, only one of them is actual a Paramount Pictures solo release as the majority of these belong to their previous partner DreamWorks.
