Born in Los Angeles, California. Author of best-selling making-of book "The Art of Mad Max: Fury Road." Also wrote (with Tara DiLullo Bennett) "Fantastic 4: The Making of the Movie," did interviews for the books "The Guild: The Official Companion," "The Cabin in the Woods: The Official Visual Companion," "Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing," "Serenity: Official Visual Companion," "Firefly: The Official Companion Vols. 1 & 2," "Firefly: Still Flying," "Firefly: A Celebration" and "Fangoria Vampires." Regular contributor to Assignment X and Fangoria.
Wrote the short stories "Cautionary Tales" (published in "Unnatural Tales of the Jackalope"), "A Stolen Bicycle" (published in Buzzy Mag) and "Ragnall Redux" (published in "Hot Blood: Strange Bedfellows").
Directed and produced "The Making Of Robin of Sherwood" (three-hour documentary spread over the 26-episode boxed set), "The Making of 'Women' from 'Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights'," "No Such Thing as Normal: The Making of 'Defying Gravity'," and "Loving the Lunacy: The Making of Lovers, Liars, and Lunatics'."
