Ben Press is Chief Development Officer & Head of LA Office of JoySauce where he oversees brand partnership strategy, talent relations and intellectual property (IP) acquisitions. Prior to his role at JoySauce, Press served as Head of Business Development for the Russell Wilson-founded social media platform startup, TraceMe which was acquired by Nike in 2019.
Press comes to JoySauce with nearly 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, including as partner at the management/production company Primary Wave Entertainment; as founder and partner of the talent agency startup, Fortitude, which was acquired by Don Buchwald & Associates and rebranded Buchwald/Fortitude; and at other, prominent agencies including ICM, Paradigm and Innovative Artists. In his tenure as a talent agent, Press guided the careers of an extensive roster of clients including Don Cheadle, Ariana Grande, Amanda Seyfried, Chevy Chase, Tyra Banks, Ray Liotta, Elle Macpherson and George Takei, and many others.
Press also packaged multiple television series, including mega-hit, "America's Next Top Model," with Tyra Banks; NBC's "Fashion Star," with Elle Macpherson; and TBS' "King of the Nerds." He also served as executive producer of the action film, "All The Devil's Men," starring Milo Gibson and William Fichtner; and the A&E Networks' documentary, "The Lifeguard," about Ronald Reagan, written and produced by Reagan's daughter, Patti Davis. Press is a member of the Hollywood Reporter's class of 2000's, "Next Generation of Hollywood Leaders: The 35 under 30," and is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont. He lives in Los Angeles, California, is married and has three children.
