Jessica Simpson sent a friendly tweet to her once rumored love interest Billy Corgan. The Smashing Pumpkins frontman tweeted: "Call me crazy but I for one thought All The Cure's songs were singles..." Simpson agreed with Corgan's message, writing back: "If u r crazy, well so am I." This isn't the first time Simpson has responded to tweets regarding Corgan. Back in January, Simpson tweeted, "I am blessed," in response to a tweet and twit pic from music producer Kerry Brown that read, "Going over a song [with] @billy and the boxer @JessicaSimpson." She also responded to the twit pic again with a message that read: "He braids my prayers." Simpson is now romantically connected to former NFL player Eric Johnson.

The song, which made its radio debut on Tuesday and is available for download now, was inspired by Jessica's travels around the world while filming her new show. On the show, Simpson visits locales like Thailand, India, France, Uganda, Japan,...

On Monday (January 18), Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan unleashed "Widow Wake My Mind," the second track from his ongoing 44-song (and entirely free) opus Teargarden by Kaleidyscope. (You can download the track at the official Smashing Pumpkins Web site.) Last month when Corgan stopped by the MTV Newsroom to discuss the album's debut track "Song for a Son," the frontman told us that "Widow Wake My Mind" was in the running to be the first song, but he opted for "Song for a Son" because it had a more epic quality. "'Widow Wake My Mind' sounds like a more obvious single," Corgan said.
He's right, as while "Song for a Son" was a heavy, shifty epic, "Widow Wake My Mind" shines a little light on the more whimsical side of Corgan's songwriting. It's a bright, poppy, jumpy tune that features a playful groove and pretty anthemic chorus. There's even a...

Back in January, Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan were seen hanging out together. Soon their friends were dishing that the pair was dating. It kind of left us feeling a little confused. For instance, how did that pop star turned country singer even meet the morose former Smashing Pumpkins frontman?
After laying low for a few weeks (so low that we almost forgot about the wacky pairing) comes news that Jessica and Billy are working in the studio together. And this isn't news from friends of sources, but instead from Jessica's Twitter, where she shares such gems as "Happy Birthday Jimmy Page!! You have always been one of my favorites" and "Dear elderly man at the gym: its hard 4 me 2 keep composure whilst punching at chipmunk speed when ur ball sack spills out of ur wind shorts."
But our favorite tweet appeared just the other day, when she tweeted a...

Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Billy Corgan ... sorry, we still have to take a moment to process every time we think about that ... are recording together.
Producer Kerry Brown tweeted pictures of Jess in the studio on Wednesday (Jan. 13) and noted that he was working on a song with her and Billy. Jessica retweeted them with the note "He braids my prayers."
Is that a song title or a weird endearment?
No word as to whether this collaboration is for Billy's upcoming album "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope" or if it's for a new Jessica endeavor. Hey, Billy did wonders for exgirlfriend Courtney Love professionally. Jessica could make a real comeback yet.

[caption id="attachment_4686" align="alignleft" width="285" caption="Jessica Simpson"]/caption] Jessica Simpson is recording a song with her boyfriend. The 29-year-old singer-and-actress – who has been dating Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan since late last year – has taken their relationship into her professional life after pictures appeared on twitter of the blonde beauty in the recording studio with the rocker and producer Kerry Brown. After Kerry posted the picture – believed to be taken as Jessica works on her new album – the star wrote of Billy, “He braids my prayers." 'The Dukes of Hazzard' star seemed to be enjoying herself in the studio too as she wrote back: “Fun to be lost in laughter,” and then later adding: “I am blessed.” Jessica - who was previously married to Nick Lachey and has dated singer John Mayer and American footballer Tony Romo – and Billy, 42, were first romantically linked in November after they both attended a Los Angeles party, though they have been friends for some time.
