Willem Dafoe is a fan favorite after having portrayed several iconic villains in his decades-long career in the film industry. Yet it is his portrayal of Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man that has been widely hailed as one of the best roles he has ever done.
Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn in a still from Spider-Man: No Way Home
From his chilling blue eyes to his menacing smile that can go from warm to blood-curling in the flash of a second, Dafoe is one of those actors who was bound to play a villain. And his portrayal of Green Goblin is no short of a cinematic wonder, for such great was his acting, that even Tom Holland got horrified while filming Spider-Man: No Way Home.

There’s an interesting new documentary called 2nd Unit: Invisible Action Stars. It comes from Rootbeer Films, and it “explores relationships between actors and stunt performers — a topic at the heart of Quentin Tarantino’s recent Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
Joe Mantegna narrates the doc, and it features the likes of James Cameron, Keanu Reeves, Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry. The doc also features Heidi Moneymaker, Jackson Spidell, Jack Gill, JJ Perry, and Jessie Graff as well as Zoe Saldana, Chad Stahelski, Jon Bernthal, Shemar Moore, Joseph Gatt, Mark Dacascos, and Helen Mirren.
Lenny Shapiro, CEO/President of Rootbeer Films, said, “Having produced many action films, it is my great pleasure to showcase the real action stars… the stunt people.”

One of the big, climactic moments in Captain America: Civil War is when we saw Iron Man and Captain America face off with each other in a brutal brawl. Marvel fans love these two characters, and it was pretty crazy watching them fight. It ended up being a great scene that paid off.
There’s a lot of hard work that goes into bringing these fight sequences to life in these films, and there’s a team of people that work together to bring them to life in the best way possible.
James Young is one of those people. He is the stunt double for Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, and he recently shared a behind the scenes video showing us some rehearsal footage of the epic fight scene. In it he is fighting Jackson Spidell, the stunt double for Chris Evans.
Check out the video below and let us know what you think.

Let the (filming of the) Hunger Games begin! Or, well, continue! Lionsgate has released the final eleven Tributes cast in Catching Fire, and we are delighted by how many of them have worked primarily as stunt people. Based on their IMDb pages, new cast members like Jackson Spidell, Elena Sanchez and Bobby Jordan are predominately stunt actors, with extensive stunt credits to their name, on everything from The Expendables 2 to Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Watch to 21 Jump Street. It makes us rub our hands together in anticipation of some truly excellent action sequences. Having a trident hurled through your chest, Anchorman-style, perhaps? Being savaged by mutant monkeys, anyone? We’re sure their acting will be similarly excellent; you don’t snag Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Amanda Plummer for your film just to blow it with a wooden tribute from District 5. This isn’t community theater here!

Like someone who underestimated how much space there was left in the margin, Lionsgate has just said “eh, screw it” and crammed the rest of their casting news in at the bottom. After months of slowly and methodically revealing the actors in their highly anticipated sequel, the studio has added eleven new faces to their marketing team’s Facebook trading card/advent calendar doohicky.
While most of them probably won’t have a line longer than “Whu–?” in the movie, this final bit of news rounds out the list of tributes participating in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’s murder-a-thon.

The near-dozen new faces are mostly all relative newcomers to the game, but they'll take arms with the best of 'em for the "Hunger Games" sequel, and at least one of the to-be tributes is openly stoked at the prospect. Megan Hayes responded to the news release on Twitter today writing, "Finally! Please forgive all the secrets, fibs, half truths I have been keeping/telling lately! District 6!!!"

Lionsgate unleashed the names of the last remaining tributes joining the fold for supporting roles in "Catching Fire" today, filling in the remaining spaces in Districts 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 with actors Justin Hix, Megan Hayes, James Logan, Ivette Li-Sanchez, Bobby Jordan (Blight), John Casino (Woof), Elena Sanchez (Cecelia), Daniel Bernhardt, Marian Greene, Jackson Spidell and Tiffany Waxler.
As Effie Trinket might say, "Welcome, welcome."
